Gamescom 2011: Sony Reveals New PSP SKU

So this is weird. At the Sony Gamescom presentation they announced a new SKU for the PSP, which I guess is the PSP-4000 is called the PSP-E-1000, although they didn’t call it that. Anyway, this new SKU comes without wifi, which is shocking considering the pro-digital turn Sony has taken in recent years.

Anyway, they priced this new SKU at €99, which will probably translate to $99 considering the current PSP-3000 goes at $129.

The anti-PSPgo will be out later this year.

Update: Kotaku says Sony has told them that this SKU will be available in Europe only.
