Gamestop Ending Preorders of Bioshock Xbox 360 Limited Edition Version

You might be a little wary if you’ve already purchased a limited edition version of Bioshock from Gamestop. It apparently hit a snag in manufacturing.

According to EvilAvatar, the reason Gamestop is no longer accepting orders for the Xbox 360 limited edition version of Bioshock is because of a problem with broken Big Daddy figurines. The Gamestop website apparently hasn’t been taking preorders online for a few days now for the PC limited edition version of Bioshock, so it’s a safe assumption that they mean in-store pre-orders are no longer being taken.

No one has received official word yet from the gaming outlet, so possibly within the next day or so some light will be shed on this mystery.

Yes, very true…. they did stop taking pre-orders for it, which I was told that today. I went into today to get a limited edition bioshock for xbox360, and they said no, BUT they did have a new bar code, and I was able to still put my preorder for Bioshock Limited Edition, so make sure when you go, to ask the clerk for the new barcode for it so you can still preorder it.

I dont know anything of a newbar code… we can still give Pre-orders with what we call a Hot sku… But my store in general doesnt have any Extra’s to Pre-order out. And i got off work a few hours ago :)

I’ve had Bioshock pre-ordered when it was announced a Big Daddy figurine would be included with the pre-order. I’ve been psyched about this game for a very long time and Tuesday afternoon can’t come soon enough.

PLUS, I just got an email that my 360 has been sent back to me from it’s summer camp trip in Texas. My fingers are crossed in hopes I get my 360 in time for Bioshock.
