Gaming Today File-N-Forget Podcast: Reviewing the Tabula Rasa Beta

File-N-Forget Logo

That’s right folks. We’ve decided to inaugurate a brand new feature here on Gaming Today. It’s our podcast, and it’s titled “File-N-Forget.” Basically, you can expect an informal discussion of games and / or topics that are hot right now with the typical Gaming Today slant.

This week, Shawn Sines and I take advantage of the recently relaxed press NDA on the Tabula Rasa beta to give you our thoughts on the upcoming sci-fi MMORPG. We expose a few warts, discuss the game‘s potential, and even offer up some thoughts on where Tabula Rasa fits in today’s MMO landscape.

You can download the podcast here. Enjoy, and let us know what you think!

Ok, basically, nice listen. Off-topic for the mo, I picked up on something really hilarious. Maybe it’s because I’m from England, but from the way you two were talking, I just got into my head American Football commentators sitting in a booth. Don’t ask me why, just a bit funny

Anyhow, yes. Nice points, covered a lot and a good format. I don’t know how regular this will be (hopefully very) but it’s a nice size for what it is. I really hate podcast’s that are 1.5hrs long and you only want to listen to a 15 minute segment right in the middle. This = just right.

As a suggestion to a few topic, I’d really like to hear thoughts on the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars beta/game. Fact is, lately I’ve gotten to be interested in it and I’ve missed the beta’s, so I really want to hear about it as it genuinely does sound like a Battlefield killer. That and if you can include and sense of system requirements, that’d be great. My PC is really middle range, so it’s handy to know if I can play it.

Anywho, great listen. Good 15 minutes.
