GDC11: Big Content Update Coming for Infinity Blade, Maybe a Sequel

Infinity Blade might end a little ambiguously (and stray toward sci-fi), but apparently ChAIR isn’t going to leave us hanging for long.

Speaking at his Mobile Summit event at GDC 2011 today, ChAIR Creative Director Donald Mustard said the first iOS title to use Unreal Engine 3 is going to receive a big content update “soon,” which will further flesh out the science fiction and story aspects of the title.

He also hinted that sequels to Infinity Blade and ChAIR’s Xbox Live Arcade title, Shadow Complex, might be in the works.

“Obviously there’s a marketing considerations, but when it comes to sequels, we ask ourselves, ‘Is there more in this genre we want to say?’” Mustard said. “We’re very interested in exploring Infinity Blade, and Shadow Complex, further.”
