Easy Onyx Medal & XP Boosting Guide
To earn an easy Onyx Medal and get plenty of quick XP in singleplayer, you’ll want to go for the Doorman Medal. All you have to do for this one is open a door 200 times.
Boosting is quick and easy, so long as you have a friend or another controller handy. To open doors, you’ll want to look for a double door that requires two players to interact with to open. If one player interacts with the door over and over, it’ll count toward the medal’s score.
This method will not work with AI present, you’ll need to play with a friend, or log into a separate account with the second controller and play in splitscreen.
One two-person door can be found early in the game. Load Chapter 1, Section 1 and continue forward until you reach a double door. Make your other player wait while you mash [X]. Continue attempting to open the door, and you’ll earn the medal in minutes.
