Get to the Airlock — Alien: Isolation Release Date Announced

Will the Xenomorph be scary again? And after repeated clunkers, can an Alien game actually be good? We’ll find out this fall when Alien: Isolation is released.

At the EGX Rezzed conference over the weekend, the Creative Assembly and Sega announced that Alien: Isolation will launch on October 7. They also demoed the game at the show, and according to CA, it received the response they were hoping for.

“The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts,” Creative Lead Alistair Hope said in a statement. “It’s the Alien game that we’ve always wanted to play and we can’t wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall.”

Good reason to be skeptical here, but survival horror seems like the perfect genre for Alien. Fingers crossed.
