    1. Ascend the inclined hallway on your left to drop into the room at the end and use heavy attacks with Zeus’ Lightning to help clear the room of all remaining enemies, then pull the indicated platform backwards to reach the low-hanging walkway above and proceed forward through the corridor at the top to climb the next ladder.
    2. Open the next door in front of you to ascend the staircase on the other side and make a left at the top to activate an action sequence, then press the indicated buttons to fight off the flying demon and activate a cut scene.
    3. Afterwards, proceed forward across the dock ahead to encounter the goat creature and use projectile attacks with heavy strikes to defeat the first wave of his minions.
    4. Use Zeus’ Lightning to fry the surrounding enemies as you assault the goat creature with launching attack combos, then incapacitate him with your amulet to continue striking the larger monster and finish clearing the area.
    5. Try taking the indicated spear to activate the next action sequence, then use your amulet to start repairing the nearby wooden structure and suspend the pieces halfway through the process to climb up onto the cement block above.
    6. Jump and climb between the large pieces of debris above to land on the rock ledge at the end, then use your amulet to finish repairing the wooden structure and step onto the platform in front of you.
    7. Pull the lever to ride the elevator to the ledge above and exit the platform to encounter the next group of enemies, then throw the spear in your hand at the nearest creature and use Zeus’ Lightning to clear them all from the area.
    8. Proceed up the road ahead to reach the wooden structure at the end and use the grapple point to activate an action sequence, then tap the indicated button to fend off the sea monster’s tentacle and land on the other side of the path.
    9. Roll away from the monster to incapacitate him during mid-hammer strike with your amulet and move back in for a flurry of combination attacks, then maintain a safe distance to avoid the enemy’s electrified forcefield and continue the assault in this manner to defeat both guards.
    10. Approach the next wooden structure ahead to climb up onto the ledge above and proceed forward to ascend the wall at the end, then move towards the right across the cliff face and make your way up onto the top to activate a short sequence.
    11. Fire electrified projectiles at the large elephant creature and incapacitate him with a blast from your amulet, then move in at close-range to inflict damage with multiple combinations strikes and roll away from each of the monster’s club swings.
    12. Repeat the previous combat tactic to defeat the elephant monster and proceed across the wooden walkway in the upper left corner of this area, then shimmy along the narrow ledge at the end to jump to the next handhold below and climb around towards the right to ascend the rock wall ahead.
    13. Use the swing point at the top of the rock wall to smash through the large circular window and use the next grapple point ahead to partially rotate the wheel above, then climb up onto the dislodge metal plate to ride it across the gap and shimmy between the narrow opening on the other side.
    14. Jump to the next cog ahead to land in the area below and use your amulet with Zeus’ lightning to help defeat the creatures that start appearing, then proceed towards the left side of the room to grab the moveable metal object and push it back into the far right corner of the area to reach the wooden platform above.
    15. Strike the rusted chains on the right to remove the obstruction and drop back to the ground below to pull the nearby crank all the way to the left, then use your amulet to repair another section of broken chains and grab the moveable metal object in the corner again.
    16. Push the metal object back to its original spot in front of the large gear and pull the previous crank all the way to the left, then shove the metal object between the cogs and to jam the wheel’s rotation.
    17. Climb up the two cogs above on the left to reach the next ledge beside you at the top and open the line of chests, then drop back to the ground below to remove the metal object from the wheel again and approach the previous crank to push it all the way towards the right.
    18. Place the metal object back between the cogs and decay the large set of chain links again, then push the crank towards the right again to unlock the overhead swing point and jump to the wooden platform above.
    19. Climb the two right-side cogs on the enormous wheel to reach the swing point above and launch yourself onto the next ledge ahead, then eliminate the surrounding insect swarm and ascend the wall in the upper left corner of the room.
    20. Continue climbing up towards the left to shimmy through the narrow opening in the corner above and enter the room on the other side to approach the wall across from you, then push the massive boulder forward to reach the Foot of Apollo.

C.B – The Decay and Heal power is to be used for making or breaking objects to be used by Kratos. You can heal a broken bridge or break some object to be used in the game. As it is the use of this power is indicated on the top right. At times you might have to use this power just partially for your use. try it out its fun and believe me later in the game the effects of heal are amazing.

Sam- yes it is at times confusing how to shoot the amulet but the easiest way to use it that when ever you will press L2 the object that is to be shot at will glow very clearly, so till the time you do not find a object glowing bright and clear you need to move around and find the right place, sometimes it might be too close to the object and sometimes it can be far off.

Just platinumed it today. It wasn’t too hard but as always there were a couple of fights that were pretty aggravating. The Trial of Archimedes was actually so hard even on the easier settings that it received a patch, though I think they made a mistake by patching it on Titan mode since the really hardcore players perhaps understandably think they’ve been given unwanted help. I though was grateful as it was difficult enough even WITH the patch. On the flip side, it’s a real shame that there was no Challenge of the Gods/Zeus/Hades/whatever this time around, as that would have been the perfect place to put such a difficult task and gamers who just wanted to finish the story wouldn’t have had to do it if they didn’t want to, while hardcore fans would have still leapt at it.
