    1. Ascend the wall on the left to reach the next ledge above and climb across the gap beside you to spot the new breed of enemy on the other side, then grab the edge of the overhead platform to move towards the left and make your way on top of it at the end.
    2. Use grapple attacks and your amulet to defeat the flying creatures that descend, then roll away from the warrior that drops beside you and hit her with several projectile-based strikes.
    3. Grab the flying creatures out of the sky to throw them at the warrior and continue striking her until a red grapple icon appears to defeat this enemy, then finish clearing the area and destroy the wooden structure in the background with combination attacks to activate a short sequence.
    4. Afterwards, climb up the wooden structure to attach to the swing point above at the top and launch yourself onto the opposite wall to slide down it.
    5. Ride the zip-line below to activate another sequence, then pull the nearby lever to put the cable car in motion and use grapple throwing-attacks to fend off the oncoming swarm of flying creatures.
    6. Continue defending yourself until the sea monster’s tentacle destroys the cable car, then attach to the next swing point as you fall through the air to climb up the broken piece of wood and jump to the counterweight at the top.
    7. Climb to the top of the counterweight to ride the zip-line across from you and land inside the next room below to defeat the enemies that suddenly emerge with the help of your amulet, then approach the indicated chain and tap the indicated button to pull the links until the platform ahead is completely raised.
    8. Jump on top of the platform as it descends to reach the next ledge above and approach the gear wheel on the left to turn it until a metal object is deposited nearby, then push this object against the wall to climb up into the overhead hallway.
    9. Use the next grapple point above to put the gear platforms into rotation and double-jump across them to reach the corridor on the other side, then proceed forward to make the right turn ahead and return to the outside to activate a short sequence.
    10. Double-jump to grab the rope above and ride it across the water to land on the wooden walkway at the other end, then head right to drop to the ground below and defeat the enormous centaurs with the help of your amulet.
    11. Finish clearing the area to activate the next sequence and approach the indicated spot on the ground to pull down the chains above, then jump up the enormous links to reach the overhead wooden ledge and enter the fire chamber in front of you on the left.
    12. Stand on the floor plate in foreground to raise the entire platform and jump through the next opening in the wall above to open the chests, then proceed forward across the nearby wooden platform to activate a short sequence at the end.
    13. Make your way across the three swing points ahead to reach the opposite wall and smash through it to land inside the next room, then climb the metal structure in front of you to proceed forward at the top.
    14. Pull yourself over to the next swing point ahead on the left to clear the gap in the walkway and proceed forward across it to climb the wall at the end, then make the first right turn to reach another swing point and use it to smash through the wall below.
    15. Proceed forward to destroy the obstruction above on the left and climb the next wall to use the swing point at the top, then land in the area below to reach the Gauntlet of Apollo.

C.B – The Decay and Heal power is to be used for making or breaking objects to be used by Kratos. You can heal a broken bridge or break some object to be used in the game. As it is the use of this power is indicated on the top right. At times you might have to use this power just partially for your use. try it out its fun and believe me later in the game the effects of heal are amazing.

Sam- yes it is at times confusing how to shoot the amulet but the easiest way to use it that when ever you will press L2 the object that is to be shot at will glow very clearly, so till the time you do not find a object glowing bright and clear you need to move around and find the right place, sometimes it might be too close to the object and sometimes it can be far off.

Just platinumed it today. It wasn’t too hard but as always there were a couple of fights that were pretty aggravating. The Trial of Archimedes was actually so hard even on the easier settings that it received a patch, though I think they made a mistake by patching it on Titan mode since the really hardcore players perhaps understandably think they’ve been given unwanted help. I though was grateful as it was difficult enough even WITH the patch. On the flip side, it’s a real shame that there was no Challenge of the Gods/Zeus/Hades/whatever this time around, as that would have been the perfect place to put such a difficult task and gamers who just wanted to finish the story wouldn’t have had to do it if they didn’t want to, while hardcore fans would have still leapt at it.
