    1. Follow the tunnel in front of you to reach the village at the end and enter the nearby building to read the message from the villager, then continue down the street on the right to search the surrounding structures for various items.
    2. Approach the white-glowing crates at the end to collect the Gorgon Eyes and Phoenix Feathers, then head back the way you came to continue raiding the buildings down the next street ahead and acquire the club located on the right side of the road.
    3. Proceed forward through the village to encounter an elephant monster and roll sideways to dodge its impending charge, then inflict damage on this creature with multiple striking combinations and continue evading its attacks.
    4. Use grapple-throws to launch the smaller enemies that appear at the elephant monster and continue attacking the creature until it’s knocked unconscious, then take control of this enemy to finish clearing the area.
    5. After the elephant throws you off its back, knock the monster out for a second time to activate a Juggernaut Mini-Game and press the indicated buttons to eliminate the creature for good.
    6. Repeat the previous two steps to defeat the other juggernaut that appears and head down the street in the opposite direction of the shadow barrier that recedes, then use the block around the corner to reach the ledge above on the right and collect the Phoenix Feathers inside the building.
    7. Drop back to the ground below and push the block all the way to area where the previous shadow barrier disappeared, then position it beneath the nearby ledge and open the next chest above.
    8. Move through the next open archway below to approach the crank on your right and collect from the surrounding chests, then turn the crank to activate a short action sequence.
    9. Afterwards return to the block to reach the ledge above and climb across the rope to reach the wooden platform on the other side, then jump onto the cliff beside you and pick up the nearby javelin.
    10. Proceed forward across the wooden walkway ahead and eliminate the insects blocking the path, then ascend the next ladder in front of you to transfer to the wooden beam on the left at the top and climb sideways across it.
    11. Jump to the next wooden beam on the right and rebound towards the left to land back on the stone pathway below, then proceed forward to search the surrounding structures for supplies and locate Ares’ Fire.
    12. Approach the fire to dip your weapons into it and acquire the Rage of Ares, then follow the on-screen prompts to activate this ability and use it to clear out the surrounding enemies that appear by executing constant evasive rolling maneuvers.
    13. Continue clearing the area to unleash the Destruction of Ares and eliminate the remaining enemies to pass through the enormous gates that open next, then proceed forward down the hall ahead to read another villager message and navigate the tunnel below to find a dead animal.
    14. Make a left in front of the carcass to drop into the next area below and activate a short action sequence, then sprint forward to the enemies on the ledge across from you and climb up on it to take them out first.
    15. Drop back to the ground below to continue fighting the enemies and activate Ares’ Fire to help defeat them more quickly, then focus your strikes on the Minotaur to evade his charging sword attacks at all times and finish clearing the area.
    16. Open the chests above on the right and left, then climb the indicated ledges that have been lit up to exit this area and proceed forward at the top to clear the next gap ahead.
    17. Pick up the Sling to help you eliminate the flying demons ahead and cross the next bridge on the left, then jump to the grapple point above and move sideways along the rock wall to clear the gap at the end.
    18. Descend the ledges to continue moving towards the left and clear another gap to proceed forward along the rock formations, then ascend the next series of ledges at the end to reach the enormous wheel at the top and eliminate the surrounding enemies.
    19. Move behind the wheel to collect from the red-glowing chests and return to its front-side again to pull the indicated crank backwards, then release it to climb the wooden debris ahead on the right and jump onto the red platform connected to the wheel.
    20. Jump to the next ledge above to proceed forward and shimmy along the ledge to the right of the blue door ahead, then continue following the trail around to eliminate the next group of insects and climb up the wall at the end.
    21. Cross the next bridge on your left to fall through it and land in the area below, then eliminate the surrounding creatures with the help of Ares Fire and avoid the red circular spots that appear on the ground to avoid the enemy projectiles.
    22. Finish clearing the area to proceed towards the right and search the surrounding structures for additional items, then cross the next bridge on the left to move through the corridor below and activate a short sequence.
    23. Approach the entrance to the circular room in front of you and wait for the massive grinder to roll by, then sprint behind it to reach the wooden fence ahead and smash through it to reach the center platform.
    24. Wait for the grinder to pass by the chests on the ledge above, then pull the three cranks in left to right order and return to the outside track to proceed back towards the right.
    25. Jump across the three ledges that have extended ahead to reach and open the four chests above, then pull the nearby crank to activate a short sequence and return to the indicated hallway below to exit the building.
    26. Approach the indicated area to grapple the column in front of you and pull it down, then use the nearby blocks to reach the ledge above on the right and encounter the large snake creature.
    27. Start attacking the snake as soon as it touches the ground and roll backwards to avoid its whipping tail, then continue your assault until the creature prepares to breathe fire and retreat in the opposite direction.
    28. Roll sideways repeatedly to avoid the snake’s rotating fire breath and move back in to continue attacking the creature with combination whip attacks at close range, then activate Ares Fire and use the grapple point that appears above his head to execute a devastating strike.
    29. Tap the indicated buttons in an alternate fashion to escape from the snake creature’s constricted attack, then continue striking the enemy at close-range by shifting between ground and air assaults.
    30. Continue blocking or escaping the snake creature’s strikes and inflicting damage upon it with multiple whip combinations, then use the red grapple point that appears above the enemy’s head to activate the Gorgon Mini-game and follow the on-screen prompts to defeat this creature for good.
    31. Open the next set of doors ahead to enter the building and proceed forward through the corridor in front of you, then make your first left to fight past a group of insects and turn right to read about the prophecy.
    32. Return to the previous corridor to reach The Cistern at the end and proceed forward to approach the bull statue, then clear out the surrounding enemies to activate a short sequence.
    33. Move to the left side of the statue to climb the three ledges above and turn right to reach the next bridge, then turn right again to open the three chests and turn back around to enter the tunnel at the opposite end.
    34. Fight forward through the tunnel to activate a short sequence, then slide down the next incline in front of you and press the indicated button at the bottom to use the swing point above.
    35. Climb up the next wall to reach the aqueduct at the top and proceed forward up it to approach the Ice of Poseidon above on the right, then dip your weapons into the blue flames to acquire new abilities and use them to eliminate the wave of enemies that appear.
    36. Use grapple-throws with launching attacks to help you finish clearing the area and pass through the gate that opens to complete this level.

C.B – The Decay and Heal power is to be used for making or breaking objects to be used by Kratos. You can heal a broken bridge or break some object to be used in the game. As it is the use of this power is indicated on the top right. At times you might have to use this power just partially for your use. try it out its fun and believe me later in the game the effects of heal are amazing.

Sam- yes it is at times confusing how to shoot the amulet but the easiest way to use it that when ever you will press L2 the object that is to be shot at will glow very clearly, so till the time you do not find a object glowing bright and clear you need to move around and find the right place, sometimes it might be too close to the object and sometimes it can be far off.

Just platinumed it today. It wasn’t too hard but as always there were a couple of fights that were pretty aggravating. The Trial of Archimedes was actually so hard even on the easier settings that it received a patch, though I think they made a mistake by patching it on Titan mode since the really hardcore players perhaps understandably think they’ve been given unwanted help. I though was grateful as it was difficult enough even WITH the patch. On the flip side, it’s a real shame that there was no Challenge of the Gods/Zeus/Hades/whatever this time around, as that would have been the perfect place to put such a difficult task and gamers who just wanted to finish the story wouldn’t have had to do it if they didn’t want to, while hardcore fans would have still leapt at it.
