    1. Dive beneath the surface of the water to swim forward above the lava trench below and continue navigating through the submerged tunnel to reach dry land on the other side, then approach the enemy that drops in front of you and start inflicting damage with combination strikes.
    2. Roll in a circle around the enemies to avoid their falling hammers and continue lashing out with combination strikes to defeat them, then approach the wheels in the lower left corners of this area and use your amulet to decay the chains they’re attached to.
    3. Jump into the next pool of water ahead to dive beneath the surface and swim through the hole in the wall below to navigate the cave tunnels on the other side, then continue moving in a forward line across the caverns to return to dry land at the end.
    4. Shimmy through the narrow opening in the corner to follow the path on the other side and enter the Harbour of Kirra to head right across the docking area, then collect from the surrounding chests and make your way back towards the left to ascend onto the deck of the boat in the middle.
    5. Following the next cut scene, throw the smaller surrounding enemies at the large three-headed creature and use your amulet with combination strikes to finish clearing the area.
    6. Activate rage to eliminate the second group of enemies that emerges and approach the nearby archway to contract an entire village in front of you, then turn the next corner ahead to open the first door on your left and watch another cut scene unfold.
    7. Afterwards, pass through the open doorway beside you to eliminate the insect creature with the help of your amulet and approach the rightmost brick column in the background to start climbing upward.
    8. Ascend to the edge of the roof above and move left across it to climb on top, then clear out the group of surrounding enemies and approach the upper left corner to drop into the next area below.
    9. Slash through the next group of enemies around the corner to approach the end of the walkway and use your amulet to heal another large section of the village ahead, then drop down over the edge in front of you and attach to the swing point below.
    10. Use the next series of grapple points ahead as you swing in the direction of each one to eventually launch yourself up onto the village’s walkway, then descend the nearby staircase to enter the corridor below and descend the ladder on the right to drop into Martyr’s Chamber.
    11. Following the next sequence, pull apart the torture device in the middle of the room to pick up the body inside and drop it on the floor plate in the upper left corner of this area.
    12. Approach the man suspended by chains at the back of the room and use your amulet to decay the bonds until they break, then grapple the corpse to pull it backwards and steer the body into the previous torture device to trap it inside.
    13. Remove the corpse from the floor plate to drop the column back down and move through the doorway behind it to activate the elevator, then carry the dead body out onto the left side ledge above and drop it back onto the pressure pad below.
    14. Jump across the gap beside you to land on the cage and approach the door around the corner to lift the next door up, then enter the room on the other side to activate a cut scene.

C.B – The Decay and Heal power is to be used for making or breaking objects to be used by Kratos. You can heal a broken bridge or break some object to be used in the game. As it is the use of this power is indicated on the top right. At times you might have to use this power just partially for your use. try it out its fun and believe me later in the game the effects of heal are amazing.

Sam- yes it is at times confusing how to shoot the amulet but the easiest way to use it that when ever you will press L2 the object that is to be shot at will glow very clearly, so till the time you do not find a object glowing bright and clear you need to move around and find the right place, sometimes it might be too close to the object and sometimes it can be far off.

Just platinumed it today. It wasn’t too hard but as always there were a couple of fights that were pretty aggravating. The Trial of Archimedes was actually so hard even on the easier settings that it received a patch, though I think they made a mistake by patching it on Titan mode since the really hardcore players perhaps understandably think they’ve been given unwanted help. I though was grateful as it was difficult enough even WITH the patch. On the flip side, it’s a real shame that there was no Challenge of the Gods/Zeus/Hades/whatever this time around, as that would have been the perfect place to put such a difficult task and gamers who just wanted to finish the story wouldn’t have had to do it if they didn’t want to, while hardcore fans would have still leapt at it.
