GOG.com is Having a Big-Ass Holiday Sale Starting This Week

If you still haven’t picked up The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, or you have an RPG fan in your circle worthy of your hard-earned gift-giving dollars, you might want to turn your attention to GOG.com later this week. The site is gearing up for a mess of holiday discounts, starting with a big reduction on the price of The Witcher 2 on Thursday.

GOG will discount The Witcher 2 by 40 percent starting Thursday for 48 hours — which brings the price down to $24 — and you’ll also get The Witcher: Enhanced Edition bundled along with it.

Starting on Saturday, GOG will be giving away game codes through its Facebook and Twitter feeds, and on Monday, the site will give away Empire Earth Gold Edition for free. Also on Monday, just about every game in the GOG catalog is getting marked down by about 50 percent (although probably not The Witcher 2).

More details are available on GOG’s blog.
