GOG.com Winter Sale is On, is Flippin’ Amazing (Free Fallouts!)

There’s been plenty of talk about the Fallout franchise of late, what with TheSurvivor2299 pulling off the greatest hoax in gaming history. Still, there is no Fallout 4, at least not just yet.

There are always the previous installments to go back to, though, and for the next 48 hours, you can grab the original Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics for free courtesy of GOG.com.

Yes, free. Grab one, grab two, grab all three or even get in the holiday spirit and gift the whole bundle to a friend. GOG.com doesn’t care what you do, they just want to give you Fallouts for free.

It’s just one of the deals in GOG.com’s just launched DRM-Free Winter Sale, and we’ve got 22 more days’ worth of deals to look forward to.

So while you’re grabbing your free Fallout, be sure to check out these other ridiculous specials:

Legend of Grimrock (70% off) — $6.48

Shadow Warrior (80% off) — $10

Outlast (80% 0ff) — $6.66

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (80% off) — $10

Rise of the Triad (80% off) — $5

Those are just five of the pretty terrific games in GOG.com’s “The Big Ones 2013″ bundle, and you can grab the entire pack for just $80.59. There are even special surprise packs to open for a deal all your own. Aw.

Wow. I’ve gotta admit, GOG.com is blowing my socks off. That’s no fun when it’s below 20 degrees in New England, but I’ll gladly take it.

Watch out, Steam Holiday Sale, GOG.com is coming on strong.

Side note: You might have some trouble getting into GOG.com right now. The site is being swarmed by deal-hungry gamers.

Good luck to those wanting to take advantage of this. The site is (as expected) going slow, so just be patient and expect to reload the page(s) a few times before everything works.
