Load Up On Cheap Games! Good Old Games Kicks Off Summer Sale

Good Old Games, better known as GOG.com, has kicked off its summer sale with the release of Torchlight for free.

The Torchlight promotion is just the start of the “No DRM Summer Sale”, which will see over 500 games on sale over the next 17 days, with 150 games seeing discounts of up to 85 percent.

Some of the many games to be on sale are contained within the Definitive Dungeons & Dragons pack, most of which are role-playing games, which includes Planescape: Torment, Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2, Icewind Dale 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2, Temple of Elemental Evil, Demon Stone, and Dragonshard.

Though the sale is largely made out of major publishers including EA, Activision, Ubisoft, and Square Enix, it’s not without a host of indie titles, such as FTL: Faster Than Light, Hotline Miami and Resonance.

As most of the sales are only available for a limited time only, it’s best to check it on a daily basis, especially if the game you’re looking for isn’t on sale.

Damn you GOG! Why must you tempt me so? The Steam Summer Sales are a month away, and I know they’ll top anything here. I must be strong, I must be patient. Oh almighty Clapton, please give me strength to persevere through this time of temptation.
