Grab Red Faction: Armageddon Through OnLive, Get Free Micro Console
If you’re looking to pick up a copy of Red Faction: Armageddon and you aren’t partial to a particular platform, might I suggest pre-ordering it through OnLive. The streaming PC gaming service, which lets users stream games over the Internet directly to their PCs or TVs through a special micro console, has a deal for you.
Snag Red Faction: Armageddon from OnLive, and you get the streaming mini-console thrown in for free. That’s a pretty big deal in and of itself — those things sell for $99 normally and are sometimes discounted to $66. With Red Faction, though, you get the console for free, which you can then plug into your TV and use to play any streaming PC games you get through OnLive right on your TV. You also get Red Faction: Guerrilla for free as well.
I took advantage of this deal last time OnLive offered the free micro console, back when Homefront was released. There aren’t a ton of games available for OnLive, but the service is adding more titles and features all the time. You can check out our review of OnLive’s micro console if you’re torn, although OnLive has updated its “Brag Clips” and added achievements since then.
