Gran Turismo 5 Discs Being Stamped Now

Gran Turismo 5 was supposed to release yesterday. Heck, it was supposed to be released several times in the past. Its most recent delay was three weeks ago.

Yesterday, Eurogamer reported that sources had “expressed concern” that GT5 wouldn’t be out until next year.

Series creator Kazunori Yamauchi may have put this worry to rest. According to Jalopnik, they asked Yamauchi when GT5 would be released, and he responded, “The discs are being stamped as we speak.”

So, Gran Turismo 5 appears to have gone gold. Looks like it may make that Christmas release after all.

I can’t wait for this game. My expectations may too high because I want to believe all the delays are going to be worth it. I’ll get this game release day. If any of my friends are reading this, don’t try reaching me for at least 2 days after I get my hands on this.
