Grip it Firmly: New Safety Screen Protects Your TV from Flying Wii-Motes

safetyscreen1-1.jpg

Well, it had to happen. After so many reports of people breaking their TVs with flying Wii-motes, someone has found a way to capitalize on it. This clear screen can fit easily over your TV to protect it from any random flying objects that may slip out of your sweaty palms.

This should also be a perfect Christmas present for my cousin Leroy, who sometimes sleepwalks and thinks he’s pitching in the World Series. It wouldn’t be that big of a problem if he’d stop keeping baskets of baseballs lying around the house. Oh, Leroy, what crazy adventures will you get into next?

Does ‘oh dear’ count as a good enough sentiment? Ach, memo to self: don’t throw controller at TV…oh wait, that would be a stupid thing to do…
