GTA V Is Playable, Says Some Jerk Who Gets To Play It

Some stupid jerk got his lame hands on GTA V, the d*ck, proving that GTA V is playable and probably very close to having an official release date. The jerk in question would be Game Informer editor Andy McNamera, who isn’t really a jerk, but who is extremely mean for rubbing the fact that he’s about to play the most anticipated game in years in all of our faces, tweeted the news earlier today:

In NYC, about to check out December’s cover game #GTAV

More seriously, the fact that we’re absolutely seething with jealousy aside, this is good news for people wondering why the hell Rockstar isn’t just announcing the damned release date already. That it’s going to be the December Game Informer cover story could mean we’re looking at an early 2013 release date after all. I certainly expect that the official release date will be announced around that time. Color me shocked by that, but willing to admit I’m wrong anyway.

Who cares….You know how many game journalists play games before they are released?
Its going to be the same we played over and over again just with a different coat of paint and to call it the most anticipated game in years is an understatement.

You know what really is the most anticipated game in years? NI NO KUNI. There has not been anygood RPGS out since Lost Oddessey. How about something new for a change and not something thats always recylced.

At this point, they’d have to release it in early ’13 in order for it to be out for the current generation of consoles. This personally doesn’t affect me, since I play most of my games on the PC… but, since GTA has always been traditionally console-first, I’m worried that they’re (Rockstar) limiting themselves in the scope that their game can be due to having to work with outdated technology.

It makes me wonder if it will be a dual-generational release a la Just Cause or Burnout Revenge
