Guerrilla Preparing to Lay the Hammer Down on Killzone 3 “Hackers”

The big “deal” with the GeoHot PS3 hack is that it can allow the user to play unauthorized copies of games, but it turns out that it’s also letting some folks exploit games as well as, apparently, undo their own PSN bannings. Issues are already arising with Killzone 3, apparently, and the folks at Guerrilla are gearing up for cyberwarfare.

Guerrilla’s Steven Ter Heide talked to CVG:

The ability for one person to ruin people’s games is not a good prospect obviously, so we’re working with Sony on the moderation side.

We’re looking at people misbehaving, being able to follow reports against those so that’s all been taken care of – and we’re working with Sony to see, even more aggressively, what kind of things are happening.

Well, I guess we’ll see how this goes. Maybe y’all should call up some PC developers for assistance. Just a thought.
