Guild Wars 2 is Half-Off Through April 13

If you’ve been waiting until Guild Wars 2 was cheaper to give it a try, now’s your chance – digital editions are 50 percent off until April 13.

When ArenaNet said there were big changes coming to Guild Wars 2 this month, they weren’t playing around. The first one is apparently a huge sale. Right now, you can grab the MMO for half off its regular price.

Just head over to the official site, pick your edition, and you can be playing as fast as your internet connection can download the client. Plus, you won’t have to worry about paying a subscription, as Guild Wars 2 requires only that you purchase to game to access all of its content.

Jumping into the game now will give you a first-hand look at the April 2014 Feature Pack, which is slated to focus entirely on in-game changes. ArenaNet says it will, “include a sweeping range of new features—everything from new systems that change and upgrade the way you experience Guild Wars 2 to quality of life and balance updates that improve existing gameplay systems.”

While all that sounds good, you have to wonder how many folks will take advantage of this deal when there’s a shiny new MMO like The Elder Scrolls Online to play this weekend.

Well Guild Wars 2 is FREE TO PLAY and Elder Scrolls is $15.00 a month. Also this comes on right on time to get some of those players who are upset with World of Warcraft right now with the new ability changes they made yesterday. Finally we are 2 months away from WildStar, so lets see what happens.
