People in the Northwest get all the luck. Not only do you get E3, PAX, and a host of other gaming expos, you get first dibs on most new title previews. Case in point: the Halo 3 IMAX Preview Event. I’m so upset that you Washington-area folks get so many breaks (other than from the dreary, never-ending rain) that I’ll just shut up and let the Bungie post fill you in on the specifics.
WHEN: Tuesday night, August 21, 2007 at 10 p.m.
WHERE:
IMAX Theater, Pacific Science Center, Seattle
200 2nd Ave N
Seattle, WA 98109See the specifics for this historic event after the jump.
WHAT: For the first time ever, Halo 3 will be unveiled to the public, in dramatic big-screen fashion at the Seattle Pacific Science Center, on an IMAX screen. Bungie staff will be on hand to demonstrate a sneak peek at co-op Campaign, Saved Films, and one or two surprises. There may also be time for a brief Q&A.
Entry to this unique and unprecedented fan event is free, but you must be 18 years old, or be accompanied by an adult Guardian. Halo 3 is rated MA by the ESRB. Space is limited and seats cannot be guaranteed. Attendees are responsible for their own transport and parking. Seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The premiere and demonstration should last less than an hour.
If you could see me right now, I would be giving raspberries and crude gestures to all you lucky gamers who get to experience events like this on a seemingly weekly basis. Enjoy the show, as it looks like it will be a great one.
(thanks go out to reader somewhat for the heads-up)

You think you’ve got it bad? Heck, in the UK, we barely get anything…though, of course, the Edinburgh games festival would’ve just gone by, wouldn’t it?

It’s alright, let them have their advanced previews, I’m happy with the fine ass latinas that populate my immediate area.

So? I live in Wacousta, Michigan. Also known as the middle of Buttf*ck, Nowhere. I get NOTHING. There will never be any gamer event larger than a LAN party within 50 miles of me in my lifetime.
/me is bitter and resentful.
