Halo 4: Skulls List & Explanations
In the new Halo 4, every skull is available right out of the box, and below we’ll show you a full list of skulls and their modifying effects on your singleplayer or co-op experience. In previous Halo titles, players would have to hunt through each mission to find these obtusely hidden skulls, but with the departure of Bungie comes another change — the skulls are no longer a collectible. Before each solo of co-op game, you’ll be able to toggle on or off these skulls, each altering your game in minor but significant ways. Find the full list of modifications below.

Enemies have increased health.
Enemies are grenade happy!
Weapons drop much less ammo.
Enemy resistances and weaknesses are increased.
Co-op: Back to previous checkpoint on death. Solo: Restart mission on death.
- Black Eye:
Shields don’t recharge unless you melee enemies.
- Tough Luck:
Enemies always go berserk, always dive out of the way, and never flee.
The HUD and the first person arms and weapon are hidden.
Major upgrade to the capabilities of enemies.
Motion sensor is disabled.
Acceleration from explosions is increased.
Rare combat dialogue becomes more common.
