HAWKEN Closed Beta Announced

Meteor Entertainment has announced the closed beta dates for HAWKEN, the free-to-play, first-person mech shooter developed by Adhesive Games. HAWKEN’s initial closed beta will run from October 26th to the 29th.

CEO of Meteor Entertainment Mark Long said:

“HAWKEN’s Alpha 2 testing was great. We broke a lot of things and that’s good. The more that we find wrong now; the smoother open beta will go. We scaled up an order of magnitude in daily players and the server ping was so good we had players on the West Coast of the United States joining the United Kingdom servers. We cannot wait to see what happens as more players join in on closed beta.”

Participants of the Alpha 2 test are automatically invited to the closed beta. As for everyone else, Meteor has encouraged fans to keep an eye on the forums, on Twitter, and Facebook for where to find the beta codes when they’re released.
