The exclusive PS3 lineup took another beating today. The future-based military FPS, Haze, rumored to be exclusive to the PS3, actually is not.
Free Radical Design, the team responsible for Haze, and known for their work on TimeSplitters, settled the rumor today when asked about it. The developer said that production of Haze for the PC and XBox 360 has been underway all along, and that the title was never exclusive to the PS3.
With the Final Fantasy delay that Stephany reported earlier, and the Metal Gear Solid 4 delay I reported last week, the holiday potential of the PS3 just keeps taking hits.

Okay this is the most ridiculous and downright dishonest article I have read yet on the Playstation 3.
Haze from day 1 was announced as a multiplatform release. The huge news was that is now is GOING exclusive to the Playstation 3 for its initial launch and when the Ubisoft spokesperson was asked about full exclusivity they dodged the question raising further interest that Sony has taken it away from other platforms or has the possibility to keep it exclusive. It would have been very easy to confirm the multiplatform support but he did not.
Of note the American website for it still shows it being muliplatform (as it always has from day 1 of its launch), but the European site has now removed all other platforms except the Playstation (it used to show xbox but no more).
To Ron (the writer of this article) you should be ashamed of yourself for posting such a dishonest article. You need better intergrity than this.

Ohh my god, Take a look at the articles he refered to and do you notice the one about MGS4 being delayed? LMFAO, Since when can a game with no official release date be delayed? Speaking of that i never knew FFXIII had an official release date either, Also like stated earlier HAze was multiplatform all along. Because i own a 360 and i have been looking forward to that game for a while now, But it looks like it will be delayed or maybe even scraped.
Judging from the 2 articles of fabrication you referenced in this false article, I think it’s fairly obvious you hate Sony and the PS3. But get a life man, Report on true stories and dont make them up…..i hate teenage fanboys and its just sad to see an adult one.
This website should actually hire some people who know something about gaming.

This article is just a flat out lie. Chris is absolutely right, this game was never intended to be a ‘ps3 exclusive’, why is is it so many people feel the need to make up rubbish just to dump all over the new Sony console? It’s pathetic.
Anyway, Haze is coming to ps3 first, sometime this autumn, and will soon follow on the 360 and pc after christmas. To be honest, it’s just another fps – it won’t be all that incredible, just as halo 3 won’t be either. Deal with it. This genre has hardly taken a step forward in anything other than graphics and enemy AI since Goldeneye.

Actually, guys, it’s been reported other places as a PS3 exclusive previously, and as recently as yesterday. Honestly, I like the PS3, and I am pulling for it to succeed. I just know that exclusive titles (like Halo for the 360) are a part of what makes a console sell, as are holiday releases. I’m not dumping on the console; rather, I’m reporting what I think is bad news for it.

From some reading I did, and I just found again using Google (search Haze PS3 exclusive), lots of people thought, like I did, that the word from Ubidays was that the title was exclusive to PS3. This was reinforced by Ubi’s CEO saying that while Assassin’s Creed was multiplatform, an exclusive title was forthcoming. Only later did word that it was a timed exclusive come to light. Many posts are being updated to reflect that. However, I don’t need to update, because you guys have nicely covered the issue. Thanks again.

this is the exact quote from UbiDays when asked if Haze was exclusive to the PS3..

So where exactly in that statement did you get the notion that it was exclusive to the PS3?
It’s funny that the only reason you wrote this article is because “I am reporting what I think is bad news for it”. I am sure that is all your report on the PS3…looking at your “MGS4 is delayed” article. I guess whatever gets hits for the website, right?

for people who is recently reading this article, before you guys read, the post date on this article, the 1 saying it will be TOTALLY exclusive for ps3 is post on 31 Aug 2007 and this 1 is 23 May 2007, so Haze will still be TOTALLY exclusive to PS3.

this is definately a PS3 exclusive as it is only being released on PS3 and not on any other platform as they canceled the multi platform idea as they couldnt cope with it

i was downloading a couple haze trailerz,advertisement n interveiwz n i definetly heard the word ‘exclusive’ but now l’m jus confused whether its an exclusive or not 4 da ps3
