Here Are 5 Avengers Games (All of Which Are Horrible)
Captain America, the oldest of the Avengers, is getting his time on the silver screen in the form of Captain America: The First Avenger and the small screen in the form of Captain America: Super Soldier. The Avengers have a long and ignoble history in the video game realm; let’s take a look at a few of them.
1. The Incredible Hulk – Sega Genesis
Sure, it looked nice back in the day, but it had no story and all the bad guys were just the same bad guy in various skins. Why must the f–king Hulk hit ordinary humans like five times in order to take them down? Go to hell, whoever made this stupid game.
2. Iron Man – Xbox 360 and PS3
Oh, yay, I get to be Iron Man in the most advanced generation of video games ever, so this has got to be amazing, right? Wrong. Yeah, I know the Iron Man suit is made of, like, iron, but damn I didn’t think it would be that friggin stiff to maneuver. I thought it would at least be fun, you know. My life sucks.
3. Thor: God of Thunder – Xbox 360 and PS3
A current-generation brawler, you say. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKK, I say, hesitantly. I should have been even more hesitant, because this game blows ass. This game glitched so much it managed to convince me that I was on drugs.
4. Captan America and the Avengers – Arcade
Although I don’t much care for nostalgia becaus the past sucks, I really tried here. But, no, it just doesn’t work. I’m not a fan of brawlers, generally, and I’m really not a fan of boring brawlers. This was definitely a boring brawler.
5. Captain America: Super Soldier
There’s something to be said for a game that doesn’t trudge along, but there’s only so many bland open world games we can take. And there are even fewer s–t movie tie-ins we can take. A 58 on Metacritic means it’s the worst game you’ve ever heard of.
