Herman Cain Going With the Sim City Tax Plan?

Herman Cain has an idea: he wants to tax personal income at 9%, corporate income at 9% and sales at 9%. I feel like we’ve heard this 999 tax plan before. Where was it? Oh yeah, it was in Sim City 4, in which industrial, commercial and residential taxes were set at 9% by default.

Did Herman Cain get this idea from Sim City or am I just imagining the connection? In all seriousness, though, what better place to learn about governing than Sim City? Sim City is where I learned that I would be terrible at it, certainly. Keep it up, Herman.

How could we expect more from the guy that ran the company that makes the tiest pizza in existence? Seriously, if he can pizza up… I shudder to think what he’d do with a country.

@ Heru

Cain was assigned to analyze and ultimately to take the reins of Burger King where he managed 400 stores in the Philadelphia area. At the time, Burger King was a Pillsbury subsidiary. Under Cain’s leadership, his region went in three years from the least profitable for Burger King to the most profitable.

His successes at Burger King prompted Pillsbury to appoint him President and CEO of another subsidiary, Godfather’s Pizza. We are not dead. Our objective is to prove to Pillsbury and everyone else that we will survive. over a 14-month period Godfather’s Pizza became profitable.

Dude i couldn’t care less how good of a business man he is. I was commenting on the fact that the company he ran makes pizza that smells like ketchup squirted on a fat mans ass.
