Samwise Didier Talks Heroes Of The Storm, Hair Metal (Interview)

What is your favorite character to play in Heroes of the Storm?

I am a huge fan of the warrior ones. Sonya, the barbarian. Her skin is the male one and I like to call him Bronya. The witchdoctor from Diablo 3 is also fun and he has all the classic abilities like fire toads. His gargantuan summoned pet is great. When it defeats a minion, it will pick it up minions and beats people with them. Even the siege giant, the gargantuan defeated him, picked him up and hit people with him. I don’t know if they call that a bug, I call that awesome.

We want to have simple enough characters for everyone, but then we have to have these specialists like Abathur.

What character would would you like to see in the game that will never make it?

I don’t know if we will ever have a character that doesn’t make it in. I push things I want to do like The Lost Vikings, I want to do Blackthorne. I want to do Snake Sanders in his looks-like-a-Camaro car. If we really want to be creative, maybe we can come up with a hero that’s like Wurt’s Leg [the weapon from Diablo 3 that was just a shoe icon.] The great thing is that any character we choose is not going to mess up the lore because this is its own thing.

Finally, what’s the most awesome thing you’ve seen in the game so far?

One of our guys at work was playing Raynor, another was Abathur as [a] Raynor [clone] and they had two of the Hyperions going in, which is his big ultimate ability, the battleships and they just blasted away.

I loved being able to play Nova in Roller Derby Skin. I play derby so having the two worlds collide is amazing and fun!
