Hey, It’s a Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Weekend: Operation Detonator

Time for another Mass Effect 3 weekend multiplayer operation, this one celebrating a little bit of the story that went into the Omega DLC pack.

In Omega, female turian squadmate Nyreen was formerly a member of a turian “cabal” military squad, a special deployment of troops heavy on biotic soldiers. So Operation: Detonate, this weekend’s multiplayer event, is all about biotics. In order to take advantage of the event, you’ll want to roll a biotic character in multiplayer.

The individual goal: Earn 20,000 Biotic Explosion points on any map at any difficulty. You will need to kill the enemy with the explosion for the points to count. Points are cumulative across matches. Extraction not required. For your efforts, you’ll receive a commendation pack.

… Does anyone care about these stupid multiplayer events anymore?

I guess they must if they keep doing them. Then again, many of them are the same people who pay for those random packs and let EA nickel and dime them, so there’s that.

This is what you can expect from ME4, by the way. It will almost certainly be an MMORPG with a new DLC pack released every week, each costing $5 and each unlocking a weapon already on the disk. And we allowed it to happen.

@Sole Claw

No actually. . .
The next game is called Mass Effect: Contact; it’s a prequel being developed by the guys who did Battlefield and BioWare Montreal.
