Hey, It’s Another Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Weekend Thing

Just for your information, if you needed a reminder: BioWare is doing yet another of its weekend Mass Effect 3 multipalyer operations. Here are some details.

This week’s is called Operation: Alloy. According to BioWare’s blog post on the matter, it’s all about training your characters to make them cooler:

Individual Goal: Promote 2 characters

Allied Goal: Promote 50,000 characters

Special Circumstance: None

If you manage to hit the individual goal, you’ll nab an in-game Commendation Pack. If the community hits its allied goal, everybody gets a Victory Pack, which is better, plus all characters will get a bump in medigel capacity.

Of course, if you miss this weekend’s operation, you can always come back next week. Are you guys suiting up to blast Reapers and Geth this weekend?

I stopped caring about these things. Eventually, I realized that it was just the same thing over and over with no meaningful change.

Is it just me, or does the “allied goal” give a good look at how much the multiplayer has died?

Just a good reason of why the decision to tie multiplayer to single player was utter stupidity. How annoying is that system going to be when it’s incredibly hard to find a multiplayer match, and all you want is to go through the single player.

Who even cares? It’s just another one of EA’s forced ty multiplayers.
I wonder when the Mass Effect FPS comes out (with a bunch of map packs, of course) .
