HolyTaco Lists 10 Best DOS Games

Thirty years ago today, Microsoft released DOS upon the unsuspecting public. It may look cumbersome by today’s standards (especially to those who are too young to remember using it), but it ushered in an era of classic PC gaming, laying the groundwork for modern games like Duke Nukem Forever (Love Duke? Check out our review, our full walkthrough, or our cheats page).

In honor of DOS’ auspicious anniversary, our sister-site Holy Taco created a list of their favorite DOS games. You’ll see the original Duke Nukem on there, alongside expected classics like Doom and Quake, but other selections might surprise you. Head over to HolyTaco and see for yourself, and if you’ve got DOS favorites you want to add, please chime in in the comments.
