Hulu Coming to PS3 Now?

huluWell, we were all wondering why Microsoft didn’t announce its Hulu thing at E3 despite rumors that a deal was imminent. It looks now like it might be because Hulu is making a similar deal with Sony to have the service on the PS3, and they want to get it all hammered down before going public.

As we know, Hulu is looking into adding a subscription model to its site, and Bloomberg is reporting that the subscription service is what will be coming to the Playstation Network, and presumably that’s also what we’d get on Xbox Live. Word is also that the big reveal could be made next week.

Very cool stuff. Between this and ESPN on 360 and HBO content on PSN, I might just drop cable.

Comcast Attacks! Comcast is destroying Hulu with this subscription model. Maybe a one-time low fee is better. Everyone hates to pay for cable, why paying for Hulu every month. Comcast loves subscriptions ! In the end Hulu will be another cable company via internet. YouTube is on the same track. Another good option is LoggTV for free CNN and movies, or independent streaming sites where everyone stream their own channels and media content. TV is moving to internet but in an unexpected way.
