I Am Alive May Be Edging Closer to Release, Receives Classification in Australia

I Am Alive is the new vaporware, a game announced three years ago and then promptly never heard from again. OK, maybe it’s not quite like that, but almost everything we’ve ever heard about the game is rumor, the latest being that maybe maybe the game will be a downloadable console title rather than a retail release.

There has so far been no reason to think the game might be on the way into your homes any time soon, but now there might be. The game has received an MA 15+ rating in Australia, meaning, well, something. It’s not a “sure” sign of anything, but it does lead one to believe hat significant progress and that Ubisoft is perhaps in the home stretch of development. It’s a hope.

Being a game I’ve been looking forward to for years, I now have hope, anyway.
