Ah, video game gambling. If you’re into it and you’re in Illinois, you’re in luck.
The Illinois legislature just passed HB 1124, which exempts gambling which takes the form of video games as being defined as a criminal activity in places like bars.
So, basically, if you play cards and bet money, it’s a crime. If you play a video game with cards and bet money, it’s condoned.
Loopholes, anyone?
(p.s. Gambling is also a sin)
