Ilomilo Walkthrough

The latest in a long line of adorable puzzle games with quirky, widespread appeal, Ilomilo puts a big emphasis on collaboration. It’s sort of like an extremely twee version of Army of Two. Protagonists Ilo and Milo live in a world of zany blocks, many of which have special abilities, and they have to navigate complicated levels and reunite with each other, at which point, you move on to the next challenge.

Sounds simple, right? Well, as connoisseurs of puzzle games know, it rarely is. That’s why we’ve got a full walkthrough coming your way for the entirety of Ilomilo.

NOTE: Throughout this walkthrough, the red character will be referred to as Ilo and the blue character will be referred to as Milo.

Prologue

Meet Up

  1. Follow the trail of blocks until you’re stopped by a tutorial teaching you how to pick up and place blocks with the “A” button.
  2. Continue along the trail to the first block and place it in the gap ahead.
  3. Activate the next tutorial block to learn how to activate the button block to pull over a block from the other side.
  4. Press “X” to switch to Ilo and head all the way to the left as far as you go until you’re standing on a red block.
  5. Switch back to Milo and press the red switch to bring Ilo over to you. Reunite the two friends and you’ll complete the level.

Switch

  1. Start off by switching to Milo. Follow the trail over to the red carpet at the end of the block. Walking across these will cause the character to move to another side of the block.
  2. Continue heading straight and jump across the gap with the jump block.
  3. Follow the path straight until you reach a block that you can pick up. Place the block in between the nearby gap and switch back to Ilo.
  4. Head forward to the jump block and simply follow the path around to reunite with Milo.

Work Together

  1. Head forward to trigger another tutorial, this time explaining the extending block creatures. Place these in a gap and they will expand across the gap. Place them on a block and they will grow upwards.
  2. Pick up the block and place it in the gap to the right. Head across and then pick it up when you reach the other side.
  3. Head right and place the block in between the two stacks of blocks.
  4. Switch to Ilo and pick up the block so you can set it back down and have the bridge extend across the gap. Pick up the block again when you cross.
  5. Continue forward and press the red switch to get a block out of the way.
  6. Place the block in the next gap to the left and pick it up again when you cross.
  7. Follow the path until you come to the same gap that Milo crossed. Place the block down, head across the bridge and you’ll be reunited.

Carpets

  1. The tutorial ahead will inform you of the block creatures that will obstruct your path when you approach them. They can only block one side of the block at a time, so you’ll be able to get past them by using some teamwork.
  2. Move Ilo in front of the creature so that it pops up and then switch to Milo.
  3. Use the carpet straight ahead to get on the other side of the block and then continue left right past the creature.
  4. Use the carpet on the otherside to be rightside up again and reunite with Ilo.

Chapter 1

Curly Branches

  1. Collect all of the nearby fragments and then pick up the block to the left. First place it ahead to get the safka, then pick it back up and place it in the gap to the right.
  2. Head right and pick up all of the collectibles before switching over to Milo.
  3. As Milo, head up the blocks on the right and pick up the last safka, then head back down to pick up the block and place it in the gap. Cross the gap to reunite and complete the level.

Airy Plains

  1. As Milo, head over the carpet to find the first Safka. Then switch to Ilo and head over the first carpet to find a record.
  2. Head back and explore the various carpets to find more fragments, a safka and a picture.
  3. When you move across the carpet that leads you to a cube, pick it up and then place it three squares ahead.
  4. Switch to Milo and head forward to the next carpet. Walk across it and pick up the next Safka.
  5. Follow the path to the next gap and switch back to Ilo. Place the block back where it was before and then have Milo walk across it to the jump pad.
  6. Follow the path back to Ilo and you’ll complete the level.

Clear Day

  1. Pick up the safka that’s in plain sight and then head over the carpet. Follow the path over the second carpet to find an extendable cube.
  2. Head back to Ilo’s start and place the cube in the three block gap so you can grab the second safka.
  3. Head back and pick the extending cube back up. Return to where you found the cube and place it in the three block gap (not the “L” shaped gap)
  4. Switch to Milo and head across the newly formed bridge so you can reach the cube and carpet on the other side.
  5. Head over two carpets that are right next to each other and follow the path to reach a collectible gallery item.
  6. Back track over the previous carpet and place the extending cube into the gap so you make a bridge that will let you get to the picture.
  7. Head back across the bridge, pick up your cube and turn left to move across another carpet. Pick up the safka and then head back.
  8. Now backtrack all the way back to where Milo started the level. Place the extending cube in the reversed “L” shaped gap and then switch back to Ilo.
  9. Pick up the cube and place it in Ilo’s side of the “L” shaped gap, thereby completing the bridge to Milo.

In Bloom

  1. Have Milo head left from the start and follow the trail around to find a Safka. Once you get it, return to the start.
  2. Head right and stop in front of the first cube. A creature will pop up, moving the cube up a level.
  3. Switch to Ilo and use the jump pad to get across the gap. Switch back to Milo and move forward to the next cube. Switch to Ilo again and have him pick it up.
  4. Place the cube in the small gap above and continue forward to the structure of blocks and collect all of the fragments and the safka.
  5. Head over the carpets to collect a bunch of fragments and then head back over the cube and pick it up. Place it back where it was before and head over it.
  6. Pick the cube back up when you get to the other side and place it in the gap near the safka at the end of the trail so you can pick it up.
  7. Switch to milo and head all the way to the right until you reach the red block.
  8. Switch back to Ilo and press the red switch to pull the red block across the gap. From there, just head over the carpet to reunite with Milo.

Greenscape

  1. Start off by heading over the two carpets and picking up the cube.
  2. Place the cube in the gap just one block away so you can grab the safka.
  3. Head back across the gap and stand on the block farthest from the carpet.
  4. Switch to Ilo, head across the first carpet and pick up the nearby safka.
  5. Continue heading across all of the carpets to pick up more fragments and collectibles. The final safka is located near the farthest carpet.
  6. Head over the final carpet and press the red button to bring Milo toward you. Head back across the carpet and reunite with your blue friend.

Drops of Sun

  1. Head over the carpet behind Ilo and follow the path until you’re able to get an extending cube.
  2. Return to the start with the cube and place it on the uniquely marked block behind Milo.
  3. Switch to Milo and pick up the block that Ilo just placed. Head forward and use it to bridge the gap ahead.
  4. Walk across and pick it back up. Head over the carpet to find a record and a safka.
  5. Head back across the carpet and continue along the path until you reach the next three block gap that you can bridge with your cube.
  6. Head across the bridge and move in front of the creature that pops up. Switch to Ilo and head up the carpet to the left. Proceed across the newly placed bridge and pick up the safka at the end.
  7. Head back and wait in front of the creature’s block. Switch to Milo and take a step back so that the creature now pops up in front of Ilo.
  8. Pick up the extending cube, but make sure that Ilo is on the front side of the creature before you do. If you take the bridge away while Ilo is on the back side of the creature, he won’t be able to step back and make the creature go away.
  9. Have Milo head back to where Ilo started the level and place the extending cube in the three block gap to get the final safka.
  10. All that’s left now is to head up the carpets and reunite.
  11. Soft Winds

    1. As Ilo, head over the carpet and walk around the square to collect fragments. Then head over the next carpet and pick up the safka.
    2. Head back to the start and this time head around to try and reunite with Milo. A creature will pop up in your way. Wait there and switch to Milo.
    3. Head over the closer carpet and walk around the square to collect the fragments. Head over the next carpet and you’ll be able to walk along the inside of the square to get another safka and more fragments.
    4. Head back to Milo’s start and this time head over the other carpet.
    5. Pick up the record straight ahead and then follow the path onward. Since Ilo should be distracting the creature, you should be able to just walk right through. Make sure to pick up the last safka and the picture at the junctions.
    6. Head back to where the creature is and stand next to it, but make sure that Milo is on the side with the carpet.
    7. Switch to Ilo and take a step back so that the creature pops up on Milo’s side, allowing Ilo to run across, run over the carpet and reunite.

    Sky Castle

    1. To start off, have Milo pick up the cube to the left and then walk straight ahead to the end of the bottom level where you’ll find a specially marked block. Place the cube here and then switch to Ilo.
    2. Pick up the cube that Milo just placed and then drop it down again so it extends across the gap.
    3. Head across the gap and pick the cube back up. Switch back to Milo and head up the carpet near the start.
    4. Collect the fragments and the safka at the end, then head back to where the carpets are and step on the top block in the only stack of three blocks.
    5. Switch to Ilo and step on the switch. Then switch back to Milo and collect the record. You need to pick it up from this angle, or you won’t be able to collect it.
    6. Press the switch again to put Milo back, then have him step off the block, then switch back to Ilo to press the switch again to get the block out of the way.
    7. Now you can end the level right here by reuniting Ilo and Milo, but there is still more to be done in this level.
    8. Make sure you pick up the extending cube you used to bridge the gap and head back to where Milo started the level.
    9. Follow the trail all the way around the large stack of blocks to find a safka. Stand on the block where the safka was and place the first extending cube so that it makes a bridge seemingly to nowhere.
    10. Now head back and pick up another extending cube. The goal is to make a long bridge that stretches to an island in the distance that contains the final safka, lots of fragments, and a picture.
    11. Once you’ve gotten everything the island has to offer, return and reunite Ilo and Milo.

    Flowerbed

    1. Switch to Ilo from the start and pick up the nearby cube. Place it off the edge so that Milo can grab it.
    2. Switch back to Milo and grab the cube that Ilo dropped. Place it in the exact same place so it falls into the gap, giving you a bridge to grab the next cube.
    3. Take the cube you just got and head back to the other gap near Milo. Place the first cube down and then pick up the second cube to bridge the gap.
    4. Stand on the second block you just dropped and turn around to pick up the first block. Use it to bridge the gap between you and the safka.
    5. Leave a bridge of two blocks in that gap as you continue forward to pick up the next block. Make sure to pick up the picture at the end.
    6. Head back across the bridge and place the cube you’re carrying in the gap near Ilo.
    7. Head back to the bridge and take the far cube back to put on top of the cube you just laid. Switch to Ilo and have him pick it up.
    8. Switch back to Milo and pick up the last cube and put it on top of the cube near Ilo just like you did before.
    9. Switch back to Ilo and make a bridge using the two cubes to pick up the Safka.
    10. Next, use the two cubes again to bridge the next gap. You’ll be stopped by a creature that pops out. Switch to Milo and reconstruct the bridge on the other side. Make sure to pick up a cube after you cross.
    11. Head across the carpets to get on a different side of the creature and head across. You’ll be able to get the last safka at the end of the trail.
    12. Drop a cube behind Ilo and then head to the backside of the creature and switch to Ilo.
    13. Take a step back so the creature pops up on Milo’s side. From there, its just a matter of walking across the carpets until Milo and Ilo can be reunited.

    Special Levels – Chapter 1

    Sebastian’s Story 1

    1. Take a step backward to have a listen at Sebastian’s story before you move on with the level.
    2. As Milo, follow the trail until you reach a creature that blocks your path. Wait here and switch to Ilo.
    3. Move Ilo forward along the trail until he reaches the creature. Wait here and switch back to Milo.
    4. Turn around and head forward to reach a pair of carpet that will put you on the bottom side of the blocks. Head forward to the creature and switch back to Ilo.
    5. Take a step back so the creature extends and makes a bridge. Head across and pick up the cube. Head back to the creature and place it on the other side where the two cube gap is.
    6. Move two blocks away from the creature and switch back to Ilo. Once again, head over the carpet and return to the top side of the blocks. Head over to the creature so it blocks your path,
    7. Switch back to Ilo and cross the newly formed bridge. Pick up the cube and continue forward. Turn right at the intersection and go over the carpet at the end. Head to the last block and then place your cube to Ilo’s left. Walk across the cube and pick up the next cube.
    8. Take both cubes one by one and place them in the two block gap that blocks the extending block. Pick up the extending block and head all the way back until you reach a 3 block gap that you can now bridge.
    9. Head over the carpet, cross the bridge, pick it up and place it to the right to pick up the picture and then proceed to reunite with Milo.

    Great Tower of Goo

    1. When you start the level, head forward as Milo and grab the cube up ahead. Place it in the gap straight ahead, move across and wait on the next block.
    2. Switch to Ilo and grab the stetching cube up ahead. Use it to get the cube across the gap straight ahead and then use both of those blocks to get the next cube across the four block gap to Ilo’s left once she turns around.
    3. Use the two stretching blocks in your possession to reach the nearby platform with the picture. Then start working your way back to the main middle platform. Remember to take all of the blocks back with you one at a time.
    4. This next one’s a doozy. You need make your way toward the block that Milo is standing on by using your two stretching cubes to bridge the first two gaps. When you get to the last gap, place the standard cube first, followed by a stretching cube, and then place the last stretching cube so that it stands vertical next to the platform Milo is standing on.
    5. Switch to Milo and pick up the stretching cube. Turn around so that you’re back on the main platform and take three steps to Milo’s right. Face Ilo and place the stretching cube.
    6. Pick up the standard cube and head across the stretching cube. Place the standard cube to Milo’s left and then walk on it and pick the stretching cube back up.
    7. Head to the platform with the single fragment and place the stretching cube and standard cubes so they extend toward the still unclaimed cube up ahead./li>
    8. Switch to Ilo and use her cubes to extend toward the cube as well. When you get close, a creature will pop out and bring the cube up to Milo.
    9. Switch to Milo and continue making your bridge to connect to the next lone platform with a fragment. Start making a bridge to the next unclaimed cube.
    10. Switch back to Ilo and start making bridges so you get back to where you started. This time you’re going to go to the platform that you’ve yet to explore. It should have plenty of fragments, making it easy to spot.
    11. Bridge the gap between Ilo and the final unclaimed cube that Milo is currently standing over and stand right next to it so the creature elevates the cube.
    12. Switch back to Milo so you can bridge the remaining two gaps, head over the carpet and reunite at last.

    Summer Mind

    1. As Ilo, move over the carpet behind you and head left toward the cube that you can pick up.
    2. Pick up the cube and then continue around the circle until you reach the next carpet. Head over and then continue straight across the bridge until you see a gap in the column ahead. Drop the cube in this gap.
    3. Switch to Milo and head straight until you’re over the cube. Pick the cube up and then keep on moving straight until you move over the next carpet.
    4. Turn to Milo’s right and follow the trail until you reach the end. Place the cube so you have a platform to walk on and grab the other cube.
    5. Head back to the carpet with one of the cubes and place it just to the right of the carpet. Grab the next cube and head over the carpet this time.
    6. As soon as you head over the carpet, head left to the end and place the cube to Milo’s left. Grab the second cube and place it next to the first so you can reach the next block. From there you can use both cubes to make a bridge and head over to the next carpet.
    7. Head up and grab the third block and return back over the carpet. Reconstruct the bridge you used to get where you are right now and start heading back to Ilo. Give Ilo one of the cubes and then switch to her.
    8. As Ilo, with a cube in tow, head back over the carpet behind you and then head right until you spot a three block gap on your left. Place the first cube down and then return to where Milo is.
    9. Switch back to Milo and repeat this process of bringing Ilo a cube, and then having Ilo place it until the three block gap is filled.
    10. Head over the bridge as Ilo and then follow the ring around to find both a picture collectible and a Stretching Cube. Pick up the Stretching Cube and head over the carpet so you can bridge one of the gaps between the rings.
    11. Cross over the bridge and pick your Stretching Cube back up. Wander around the ring until you spot your cube bridge that you laid. Place the Stretching Cube across the empty gap, then grab one of your cubes so you can complete the bridge. Pick your Stretching Cube back up after you cross.
    12. Head right as Ilo, bridge the next two block gap, pick your stretching cube back up, and head over the carpet.
    13. Bridge the next two block gap and head across to the next block. All that’s left is to place the Stretching Cube out toward the walkway and search for Milo.

    Chapter 2

    Marine Blue

    1. Head down the path as Milo and turn left to find the Trap Cube. Standing on this cube while it’s placed on an empty gap will cause you to flip to the other side of the cube.
    2. As soon as you pick up the trap cube, place it off the edge and stand on it for a second or two to flip to the other side. Pick up the record and then flip back and pick the cube back up.
    3. Head back to the middle platform and turn right. When you’re on the narrow bridge, place the Trap Cube off to the side and use it to flip to the other side.
    4. Use the trap cube to bridge the small gap and travel around the collection of blocks to get some fragments and a safka once you use the carpet to get to the other side.
    5. When you’ve collected everything, come back the way you came use the trap cube to flip back.
    6. Now head straight toward the large column of blocks and place your trap cube next to it. Use it to flip and then head over the carpet and follow the blocks all the way around to find the second safka.
    7. Pick up your trap cube and place it on the other side of the column. Head over the carpet above, pick up the Trap Cube and then place it down again in the same place. Now the trap’s face should be under you, allowing you to flip to the underside.
    8. Explore this platform to collect all of the fragments and then switch to Ilo.
    9. Use the jump pad to reach the next platform and follow the trail under the arch to reach a picture collectible.
    10. Head back and use the carpets to reach the underside of the platform and find the last safka.
    11. Finally, head back and use the jump pad to leap over to the platform where Milo is waiting.

    Water Breathing

    1. Head forward down the long trail as Ilo and turn left to head up the various carpets. Pause when you reach the gap with the cube below.
    2. Switch to Milo and move straight ahead toward the cube so the creature pops the cube up.
    3. Switch to Ilo and move across the cube, then pick it up. You’ll get the first Safka on the way.
    4. Place the cube down in the next gap and head across, again picking up the cube once you cross.
    5. Head along the path and place the cube down in front of Ilo once you reach the end.
    6. Switch to Milo and head all the way back to the carpets and head over to the cube so you can pick it up.
    7. Head back down and use the cube to bridge the nearby gap to pick up the second Safka.
    8. Get back up and use the cube to move forward across the two gaps and make it to the carpet. Head down and then head down the carpet to your left. Explore all of the various paths to find the last safka, a record, and a picture.
    9. Now head back to the carpet where you came from and place the cube down so that Ilo can cross the gap.
    10. Switch to Ilo and head over the cube that was just laid, then pick it up and place it over the creature. From there all you need to do is head over to the carpet to get on the same plane as Milo and reunite.

    Silent Ocean

    1. Head right as Ilo and move past the sock creature to grab the Trap Cube.
    2. Place the cube to the right or left and use it to flip to the other side. Pick the cube back up and collect the Safka up ahead.
    3. Now that you’re on the other side of the sock creature, place the Trap Cube and flip back to the top side. Grab the cube again, head up the carpet, turn to Ilo’s right and place the cube on the marked block at the end.
    4. Now head all the way back to the start and place Ilo on the block right before the three block gap.
    5. Switch to Milo and pick up the Trap Cube. Head two blocks to the right and place the cube down in the empty space. Flip to the bottom and collect the picture before flipping back to the top.
    6. Take the Trap Cube and head up the carpets until you’re on the top level. Pick up the Safka and then place the Trap Cube to the left or right to flip to the bottom.
    7. Press the button to bring Ilo over to your side. If you wanted to, you could complete the level right now, but lets find some more collectibles first.
    8. Flip back to top side and head over one of the carpets. Flip to the other side and wander around to find either the final Safka or the record.
    9. Once you’ve gotten the safka and the record, retrace your steps and reunite with Ilo.

    Light Rays

    1. Head forward as Milo to collect the fragments, but stop once you reach the sock creature.
    2. Switch to Ilo and pick up the Trap Cube. Head down the carpet to the left and place the cube in the gap.
    3. Switch back to Milo and use the Trap Cube to flip to the back of the sock creature.
    4. Turn the camera to find two Safka’s on the long path. Collect them and then head back to the Trap Cube. Pick it up and place it beyond the sock creature’s cube. Flip back to the other side and pick up the Stretching Cube.
    5. Flip to the backside with the Stretching Cube in tow and then place the Trap Cube beyond the sock creature’s cube again.
    6. Flip back to the top side while holding the Stretching Cube. Place the Stretching Cube in the three block gap and head across, but make sure you take the Trap Cube with you.
    7. Place the Stretching Cube in the next 3 block gap and take your Trap Cube across it. Do the same with the next gap and make sure you have your Trap Cube on your back when you head up the carpet.
    8. Head up the top until you’re right-side up again and then place the Trap cube off to the side so you can get to the bottom side of these blocks. You’ll be able to get both the Record and the final Safka by exploring the underside.
    9. Before you head over the carpet at the end to reunite with Ilo, give her the trap cube, and then have her use it as a bridge to collect the picture.
    10. Once you have the picture, you can reunite and complete the level.

    Seaweed

  12. This level introduces a new type of creature that will go around and eat special Apple Blocks. By default, they will keep on moving forward until they are stopped by a block, an edge or Ilo/Milo.
  13. Start the level off by heading left and picking up the Safka in plain sight.
  14. Next, try to block the creature in on the side with the tutorial block.
  15. Switch to Milo and grab the Cube. Place the cube in the gap up ahead so the creature can cross.
  16. Switch back to Ilo and follow the creature and block its exit.
  17. Make another bridge for the creature and then set the bridge up for Ilo so she can cross.
  18. Have Ilo follow the creature to cut off its escape and position Milo in front of its path so it turns into the Apple Cube blocking the Safka.
  19. Put the cube in the gap that bridges the two main platforms together so the creature can move to it and eat the Apple Block that is in front of the picture. You can also pick up the final Safka while you’re at it.
  20. Once you’ve gotten all of the collectibles, you can easily reunite Ilo and Milo.

Air Bubbles

  1. As Milo, head into the side openings on the starting platform to find a safka and a record.
  2. Get on top of the creature and let it take you for a ride. Once you’re on, switch to Ilo.
  3. Have Ilo block the way so the creature takes Milo to the platform on the right with the cube. Switch to Milo, pick up the cube, and then get back on the creature.
  4. With the cube in hand, have Milo return to his starting platform. Place the cube down and then switch to Ilo so she can pick it up.
  5. Place the cube in the gap up ahead and then get Milo back on the creature.
  6. Guide the creature across the new bridge and over to the far platform where you’ll see a Stretching Platform off in the distance.
  7. Make sure to pick up the picture along with the Stretching Cube, then get back on the back of the creature.
  8. Have Ilo guide the creature into the arch to the left and have Milo get off on one of the blocks to the side.
  9. Have Milo place the Stretching Cube down so Ilo can pick it up. Then have Ilo go around and place the Stretching Cube in the three block gap on the other side of the arch.
  10. Guide the creature back into the arch and have Milo get on top of it once it gets past the Block Creature.
  11. Have Milo ride the creature to the end and then get off to grab the Safka.
  12. Finally, have Ilo get up the carpets and then have Milo ride the creature so that they meet when the creature reaches the first carpet.

Water Stream

  1. Walk aroudn the square and pick up all of the fragments and then position Ilo in front of the gap before the Stretching Block.
  2. Switch to Milo and use the two blocks to fill the gaps next to the carpet on the lone block.
  3. Head across the blocks to get a record and a Sakfa on both sides.
  4. Once you get the collectibles, press “B” to see where Ilo is. You need to place the two blocks you have so that Ilo can pick them up.
  5. When Ilo can pick up the two cubes, have her make a bridge so she can pick up the Stretching Block. Head over the carpet behind the Stretching Block for a Safka.
  6. Get all three blocks to Milo and have him work his way to the opposite side. Go over the carpet and use the three blocks to make a long bridge to pick up the Safka on the other side.
  7. Now get all of the blocks to Ilo and have her take them to the carpet where you found the Stretching Block. Head over the carpet and then turn around. You need to bridge this gap using your three cubes.
  8. Ilo should now be where Milo started. All you need to do now is take two blocks, fill the same gap that Milo had to fill next to the carpet, and then meet Milo on his plane.

Blue Depths

  1. As Milo, just explore as much as you can with out touching any of the cubes just yet. You should be able to find two Safkas and the picture for the level.
  2. Grab the Cube as Milo and use it to bridge the two single block gaps before the Stretching Block.
  3. Head around the Stretching Block to pick up the last Safka and then pick up the Stretching Cube.
  4. Place the Stretching Cube on top of the standard cube so that it sprouts vertically up to Ilo.
  5. Switch to Ilo and pick up the Stretching Block, then place it back down so it stretches outward.
  6. Step on the button so the Pull Block up ahead pulls down a block. Switch to Milo and get on top of the new block.
  7. Press the button again to push Milo up.
  8. Before you reunite, place the Stretching Block vertically on the block that gets pulled down and step on the switch. Have Milo stand on the Stretching Cube and press the button again to push Milo up to the high platform and collect the record.
  9. Bring him back down and reunite the two friends to complete the level.

Aquatic Song

  1. As Ilo, position yourself directly across from the Pull Block and then switch to Milo.
  2. As Milo, head along the path and pick up the Cube. Use it to bridge the gap and wait for the creature to walk across and eat the Apple Cube. While you wait, walk around and pick up the picture.
  3. The creature will press the switch, bringing Ilo over to the next platform. Switch to Ilo and quickly move around to the next Pull Block. Make sure to pick up the Stretching Block and the Safka along the way.
  4. Have Ilo block the way of the creature so it goes to eat the next Apple Cube
  5. Head over to where the Apple Cube was and place the Stretching Cube to bridge the gap. Head back and pick up the Cube and use it to collect the next Safka to Ilo’s left when he walks across the newly placed bridge.
  6. Don’t forget to grab the final Safka by using the Stretching Bridge to bridge the gap near the switch that activate the Pull Blocks.
  7. Once you’ve got all of the collectibles, have Ilo run along the carpets to be on the same plane as level as Milo, enabling them to reunite.

Chapter 3

Scribbled World

  1. As Milo, head over the first carpet and head to Milo’s left to pick up a picture.
  2. Continue to the next carpet and pick up the Flying Cube. Now turn around and head back up the carpet. Take two steps up and place the Flying Cube. When it flies, run over the carpet and wait for it to come back. Then you can ride it to the first Safka on the distant platform.
  3. Fly back to the previous block and pick the Flying Cube back up. Head back to where you started and place the Flying Block in one of the empty gaps so it flies up and takes you to the platform above.
  4. Wander around the square to pick up fragments and the record for this level.
  5. Pick up the Flying Cube and run over the carpet. Follow the path to the next carpet and pick up the next Safka.
  6. Place the Flying Cube to the left or right after picking up the second Safka and take it up to return to the start of the level.
  7. Head back to where you found the Flying Cube and this time head over the nearby carpet. Take a step down, turn around and place the Flying Cube so that when it flies, you can run over the carpet, then hop on to to the Flying Cube and let it take you to the next platform.
  8. Switch to Ilo now and place the nearby cube so it cuts off one of the escape routes of the caged Safka. From there, you can just run into it and liberate the Safka.
  9. Now you’re ready to reunite. Just run across the Sock Creature to join with your buddy.

Cut and Paste

  1. Start off as Ilo and head down the long trail, chasing the caged Safka away.
  2. Pick up the cube and use it to bridge the small gap. Pick it back up and then use it to bridge the next gap straight ahead so you can pick up the second cube.
  3. Use both cubes to bridge the two block gap and then move Ilo to the top of this square pattern, next to the gap where the second cube was.
  4. Switch to Milo now and run down his long trail until you reach a flying cube.
  5. Before you pick up the cube, head over the carpet to the left and follow the path down to collect a picture.
  6. Now grab the flying cube and place it in the hole in the ground. Get on top of it so the cube takes you up to the platform above. Pick up the cube and hold on to it.
  7. Get the Safka right in front of you and then head over the carpet to the left. Take a step forward, then turn around and place the flying cube down. Wait for it to fly, then run over the carpet and walk on top of the cube when it comes back. You’ll be taken right to the next Safka.
  8. Now your final task is to trap the caged Safka. Ilo should be standing on the intersection, so the caged Safka will have nowhere you to go if you just chase it right into Ilo, completing the level and gaining the last Safka as well.

Floating Cardboard Box

  1. Switch to Ilo from the start and pick up the Cube. Position yourself so you make the creature go over the carpet and eventually have it eat the two Apple Cubes.
  2. Use the button to bring the block with the Safka over. Collect the Safka, place the cube to Ilo’s left, and then switch to Milo.
  3. Head down the trail and pick up the Trap Cube along the way. Place it off to the side and pick up the standard cube first. Place it in the same place you picked it up and then place the Trap Cube on top of it.
  4. Switch to Ilo and pick up the Trap Cube. Use it right now to collect the next Safka, then flip back to the side with the button.
  5. Use the Trap Cube to explore all of the various side of this structure, then return to the side with the button and give the Trap Cube back to Milo.
  6. Now as Milo, its time to explore the bottom half of his section. Place the Trap Cube off to the side and flip to the bottom to find the picture and the final safka. Pick up the Trap Cube and head over the two sets of carpets.
  7. Switch to Ilo now and head all the way back to where she started the level.
  8. All you have to do now is have Milo use the Trap Cube to get on the same plane as Ilo and reunite.

White Balance

  1. Switch to Milo from the start and run across the giant circle to find a Safka and a record after using the carpet. Head back to where you started once you get those two items.
  2. Position Milo on the block across from the Pull Block just before the Extending Cube.
  3. Switch to Ilo now and pick up the cube. Place it on the marked block below after the creature passes it. This will cause the creature to turn left and walk across the button.
  4. When the button is pressed, Milo will be moved toward the Stretching Block. Switch to him and pick it up, then use it to get across the gap.
  5. Have Milo place the Stretching Block in the next 3 block gap and press the switch to pull a block away from the arch.
  6. Switch to Ilo and get on top of the creature, letting it take you to the area where another Safka is located. Get back on the creature and return to where you came from after the Safka is yours.
  7. Remove the cube that is blocking the creature and then switch to Milo. Have Milo ride on the creature so he can be ferried over to the same area is Ilo.
  8. Before you reunite though, have Milo use his Stretching Cube to bridge the last 3 block gap in the corner of the level to pick up the last Safka. Make sure to circle the pyramid structure as well to find the picture for the level.

Paper Perfection

  1. This level is pretty tricky. First off, switch to Ilo and pick up the Flying Cube at the other end. Place it in the nearby hole and switch to Milo so he can pick it up.
  2. Once Milo picks up the Flying Cube, have him move back to where he started and send the Flying Cube back up to Ilo. Have Ilo step on the cube and take it down to an area where there will be a Safka.
  3. Take the elevator back up and then have Milo take the Flying Cube again.
  4. Place the Flying Cube back in the hole and use it as an elevator to take Milo up to the top of the structure. Pick the Flying Cube up and start exploring this area to find a Caged Safka and a picture.
  5. Head over the carpet on the side and you’ll find another Safka. Pick it up and the head back over the carpet.
  6. Head over the other nearby carpet and then stop. Turn to Milo’s right and place down the Flying Cube. Head back over the carpet and walk on the Cube to fly over to a lone platform with the level’s record.
  7. Head back and this time follow the trail after the carpet until you’re on the same plane as Ilo.
  8. All that’s left to do is corner the caged Safka and reunite with Ilo.

Origami

  1. Start off as Ilo and head straight forward to the carpet on Ilo’s left. Explore this area to find the picture and then head over the next carpet to pick up the Flying Cube.
  2. Take the Flying Cube back to the start and place it on the marked block.
  3. Switch to Milo and pick up the Flying Cube when it appears. Head over to the carpet and pick up the Safka that awaits.
  4. Place the Flying Cube on the marked block and when it flies up, head over the carpet and get on top of it when it comes back.
  5. When you reach the other side, walk off and pick the Flying Cube back up. Head over the carpet to Milo’s right and place the Flying Cube to the left.
  6. Head back over the carpet and get on top of the Flying Cube so you can fly to the platform with the Stretching Cube. Grab the Safka while you’re there, pick up the Stretching Cube, and then take it back.
  7. Head over the other carpet and place the Stretching Cube in the three block gap.
  8. You can reunite with Ilo right now if you wanted to, but we still have another Safka to collect.
  9. Place the Flying Cube just to the right of the start of the bridge made by the Stretching Cube. Use it as an elevator to get to the top of the structure. Have both Milo and Ilo come up, and then position them so you can trap the Caged Safka.

Sketchy Sky

  1. As Milo, take the Flying Cube and place it in the hole straight ahead. Use it as an elevator to reach the ledge above.
  2. Follow the path all the way around, using all of the carpets to eventually find a Safka.
  3. Before you do anything else, continue exploring this whole area. If you cover every block you can, you’ll find another Safka and the picture for the level.
  4. Now head back, pick up the Cube, and then return to the Flying Cube. Take it back down and then place the cube in the hole while the Flying Cube is in the air.
  5. Doing so will give you a bridge to pick up the last Safka, and give Ilo the ability to use the Flying Cube.
  6. Have Ilo go up and then put her in a safe place so she doesn’t run into Milo just yet.
  7. Switch back to Milo and pick up the Cube. Next, use the Flying Cube to get to the top of the level.
  8. Head over the nearest Carpet and walk on the Flying Cube when it gets close. Place the cube on the other side and you’ll have a two block bridge that you can use to get to the platform with the record.
  9. Once you’ve gotten the record, you can feel free to reunite with Ilo.

Wet Ink

  1. Start off as Milo and head around to the carpet to pick up the Safka and Record.
  2. Next, continue making your way around to pick up the cube and the second Safka.
  3. Head back to where the Sock Creature is and place the Cube to Milo’s left. Walk across it, then pick up the cube and walk across the Sock Creature’s hole.
  4. The creature will throw the cube on to the Block Creature’s top, allowing Milo to get close to it and have the cube pop up for Ilo to walk across..
  5. Switch to Ilo now and pick up the Flying Cube. Switch back to Milo and have him move away so the Block Creature goes back down.
  6. Switch to Ilo once again and place the Flying Cube on top of the standard cube, then walk on it to use it as an elevator.
  7. Switch to Milo and pull away the bottom standard cube when the Flying Cube lands on it.
  8. This will allow the Flying Cube to be level with the ledge above, enabling Ilo to walk on to the platform.
  9. Collect the Safka and the picture< and then pick up the Flying Cube once again.
  10. Send the Flying Cube down to Milo so that it flies into the marked block. When it leaves an opening, run over the carpet, then run on to the Flying Cube.
  11. Now just head over the carpet to get on the same plane as Milo and you’re done!

Color Vision

  1. Pick up the Cube as Milo and then use it to bridge the small gap ahead. Next, you need to reverse the creature’s direction, so head one block to the right and place your cube down.
  2. When the creature reverses its direction, continue following the path and cross over the carpet. Place the block to Milo’s left on the second to last block.
  3. The creature will eat through the first Apple Block, giving Ilo access to the ground level of this area. Give Ilo the block and then switch to her so she can explore this area to grab the Safka and the picture. Make sure to seal off the creature so it doesn’t get back in!
  4. Lead the creature to eat the next Apple Block and then guide it along the trail of fragments to the next area.
  5. Grab the Safka and then head back out of the creature’s path. When it passes you, head over to the carpets and wait on the top block for the creature to come by.
  6. When it does, get on top of it and ride it to the platform with the record. Collect the record and then get back to the ground floor.
  7. Your next task is to get Milo on top of the creature. To do that, first guide the creature so it goes over the carpet near the last Safka. Follow it up to the carpet, but don’t go over it yet. Block the pathway with the cube so it can’t go back into the area it just came from.
  8. Now head over the carpet and force the creature to move back over it.
  9. The Creature will start heading toward Milo and you’ll be able to be right behind it. Keep on tailgating it until you trap it in a corner, allowing Milo to get on top.
  10. Lead the creature with Milo in tow back to the second area and get it to move toward the carpet near the final safka. Have Milo walk off the creature when it gets close to the platform, grab the Safka, and then hop back on.
  11. Finally, just lead the creature to the pair of carpets on the stack of two blocks so Milo can hop off, return to ground level and reunite with Ilo.

Chapter 4

Cheese Moon

    1. First, as Ilo, head down the trail and pick up the Dark Cube. These cubes will cause light cubes to enlarge and become blocks that you can step on, but only within a certain radius.
    2. Place the dark cube to the left so you can extend the bridge and collect the first safka.
    3. Next, pick it back up and place it near the marked block further down the path.
    4. Switch to Milo and pick up the Spinning Cube up ahead. Place this cube off an edge and it will rotate you to another plane. If you place it on solid ground, it will roll forward, climbing up walls and around edges.
    5. Place the cube off the edge on the left side to rotate to a Safka.
    6. Next, rotate to the side with the jump pad, pick up the Cube again, and then before you jump across, turn around and drop the cube back down.
    7. Jump to the next platform, head over the carpet and grab the next Spinning Cube.
    8. Step on the block that the Spinning Cube used to be resting on and place it off the edge so you can rotate to the block with the Safka.
    9. Next, pick up the cube and head back to where you came from. Place the cube off the edge and rotate until you can get the picture. It should be on a block right across from the jump pad.
    10. On the other side where the jump pad is, the Spinning Block you laid should be rolling around endlessly. Place your Spinning Cube down and pick up the one you previously left. Now you have two Spinning Cubes within reach.
    11. Head back over the carpet and place one Spinning Cube down so it climbs up the large tower with the button on top. While it’s climbing, pick up the second Spinning Cube.
    12. You need to get one Spinning Cube over to Ilo so she can use it to flip to the bottom part of her platform and collect the record.
    13. Once you’ve gotten all of the collectibles, just stand on the block when the button is pressed so you can reunite.

    Cradle

    1. Start off as Milo and pick up the cube straight ahead. Head over the carpet and wait at the gap.
    2. Now switch to Ilo and pick up her cube. Place it in the gap and switch to Milo.
    3. Head across the bridge and pick up the Dark Cube. Place it down to light up the bridge of cubes ahead.
    4. Switch between Milo and Ilo, taking turns heading across to pick up a Safka.
    5. Switch back to Milo and head back across the bridge. Pick up the Dark Cube and place it two blocks to the right of the Cubes you placed earlier.
    6. Pick up the first cube and place it off the edge to the right of the second cube. Make a two block bridge extending out toward the pillar in the middle and then place the Dark Cube at the end. This should cause all of the light cubes to enlarge.
    7. Switch to Ilo, head across the bridges, pick up the final Safka, and then use the Trap Cube to get on the same plane as Milo. From there, just head back across the bridges to reunite.

    Nebula

    1. Start off as Milo and head forward toward the carpet. Once you’re up top, grab the Stretching Cube.
    2. Head back over the carpet and place the Stretching Cube over the edge in the middle of the platform you’re standing on.
    3. Switch to Ilo. Pick up the Stretching Cube and use it to grab the safka up ahead. Then head right and extend the Stretching Cube out so it forms a 90 degree angle with Milo’s Stretching Cube.
    4. Switch to Milo and head over the bridge. Continue down to the end and pick up the Flying Cube.
    5. Head all the way back over the carpet, move the vertical Stretching Cube and place the Flying Cube in the hole.Stretching
    6. Switch to Ilo, take the Stretching Cube away and place it off to the side. Pick up the Flying Cube and place it in the hole right before where the Safka used to be.
    7. Pick up the Spinning Cube and explore all of the sides of this area. You’ll be able to find the picture and second Safka up here. Eventually, your goal is to get on the platform that is directly across from Milo’s starting point.
    8. Once you’re across from Milo’s start point, have Milo take the Stretching cube and go down. Place the Stretching Cube across the gap and then have Ilo place her Spinning Cube down to complete the bridge.
    9. Before you reunite, have Ilo give Milo the Spinning Cube, and then have Milo use it to explore all of the remaining sides on his end of the level to find the remaining collectibles.
    10. Star Light

      1. Start off as Milo and head across the winding bridge to find a Safka. Head back to the start once you’ve got it.
      2. Switch back to Ilo and pick up the nearby cube and head over the twisty bridge, collecting the picture at the end. Drop the cube off the edge.
      3. Pick up the Flying Cube next to Milo and take it over the carpet. Head over the next carpet and place the Flying Cube on the market block so you have a moving platform that will take you to the next area when you head back over the carpet.
      4. Before use the Flying Cube to head over the gap though, head back to where you picked up the Flying Cube and switch to Milo.
      5. Have Milo pick up the cube that Ilo dropped and use it to bridge the small gap. Head over to the other side and pick up the Dark Cube.
      6. Give the Dark Cube to Ilo and have Ilo head across the Flying Cube so she can place the Dark Cube on the marked block.
      7. Switch back to Milo, head over the carpet, and start heading across the newly formed bridge of light blocks.
      8. Have Ilo pick up the Dark Cube and place it on the next marked block so Milo can continue heading across the bridge.
      9. When Milo reaches the end, he’ll find a Safka. Head back to the start of the bridge, head over the carpet, and repeat the process to get Milo across the bridge again, but this time on the right side of it.
      10. Once Milo crosses, he will be at the same spot where Ilo started the level. Just retrace her steps to eventually reunite.
      11. Before you reunite though, you might as well get some collectibles that Ilo passed up. Head over the carpet before the Flying Cube and use both the standard cube and the Flying Cube to make a two block bridge to reach the platform on the other side. There you’ll find the Record for the level.

      Cosmos

      1. Start off as Milo and collect the Safka that’s in plain sight.
      2. Switch to Ilo and pick up the Spinning Block. Drop it so that it rolls up the hill and arrives at Milo’s feet.
      3. Once Milo picks it up, use it to explore the underside of this platform to find both a picture and a Safka.
      4. Flip back to the top and send the Spinning Cube down the other hill.
      5. Switch back to Ilo and use the jump pad to move across to the other platform.
      6. Grab the Spinning Block when it arrives, then run back to the intersection and turn right. Place the block over the dead end and flip to the back side of this platform where you’ll find a Safka.
      7. Return to the top, take the Spinning Block, and head over to the Jump Pad, but don’t go over it. Place the Spinning Block off the edge so you turn under and are able to grab the record.
      8. Now head back to where you found the last safka and flip over to the other side so you can grab the Flying Block.
      9. Get back to the top side and have Ilo place the Flying Block off the edge closest to the giant creature in the middle.
      10. Switch to Milo and then have him start making a bridge that extends from the two blocks that are already sticking out. You’ll need to use the two cubes found up here to complete the bridge.
      11. Now all you need to do is have Ilo step on the flying block and be taken right to Milo, who should be standing on the edge of the bridge.

      Dreamer

      1. Start as Ilo and head left to a carpet. Head over and follow the path to collect the picture for the level.
      2. Head back and this time go the opposite way, heading up the two carpets until you reach a creature that pops up the Stretching Cube.
      3. Switch to Milo, grab the Stretching Cube and use it to bridge the gap up ahead. Head over the first carpet to your right and then head right to collect a Safka. Head back and go over the second carpet to get another Safka.
      4. Head back over the carpet so you’re back on the default plane and head left. Position yourself under the Cage Creature, just to the right of him.
      5. Switch back to Ilo, head down the carpet and pick up the nearby Flying Cube. Follow the path to the left and place the Flying Cube in the hole. Step on it and let it take you up to the top platform.
      6. Wait for the Flying Cube to go back down and then head over the carpet it was covering to find a Safka.
      7. Head up the carpets until you’re on the top level and follow the path toward the Cage Creature.
      8. Have Milo move to the right so the Block Creature pops up, giving the Cage Creature a platform to jump on and flee. On his way, he’ll hit a button that will take a cube away down below.
      9. Have Milo head across the Stretching Cube and follow the trail back to the Flying Cube so he can get on and reunite with Ilo.

      Lulaby

      1. Start off as Milo and follow the edge of the platform to the right to find a safka.
      2. Switch to Ilo and run on top of the creature when it gets close.
      3. Switch back to Milo and press the button when the creature is on the farthest block.
      4. Next, take the Cube and head over to where the creature is. Place the cube in the gap and then press the button again to take away an empty block and force the creature to move up.
      5. Have Milo move up the trail of blocks in the middle and wait at the end. Switch to Ilo and wait until you’re able to get off the creature at the jump pad.
      6. Press the next red switch to pull Milo over and then head down the long trail to find a Picture at the end.
      7. Switch to Milo and head down his path. Pick up the Stretching Block and place it vertically so Ilo can grab it.
      8. Have Ilo drop the Stretching Block so it extends horizontally and covers the single block just after the Safka and the Apple Block. This will cause the creature to eat the Apple Block and continue forward. Try to get on top of the creature with Ilo by running across the Stretching Block and getting on its back when its close.
      9. Get off at the platform with the carpet and then guide the creature to go down the carpet to the lower level so it can eat the Apple Block.
      10. You can now reunite, but before you do, head back up the carpet as Ilo, and follow the trail back toward Milo’s start. Make sure you take the Stretching Cube with you. You’ll find a record, the Safka the Stretching Cube used to be covering, and another Safka if you use the Stretching Cube to create some bridges.

      Count Sheep

      1. As Ilo, pick up the Cube and explore the area as much as you can. Make sure to find the Safka over the carpet and wait there.
      2. Switch to Milo, grab the flying cube and place it in the gap. Get on it and the elevator will take you up, but you’ll go one block too far.
      3. That’s where Ilo comes in. Place the Cube down so it blocks the Flying Cube, then switch to Milo and walk on to the next platform. Head over the carpet and collect the safka at the end.
      4. Grab the Flying Cube as Milo, head over the carpet, then head two blocks down, turn around and place the Flying Cube down.
      5. When the Cube flies up, head under it and over the carpet. Now you have a moving platform that will take you to the next area.
      6. Pick up the Flying Cube and then drop it down again. Get on top and let it take you up a block to the next platform.
      7. Pick up the Spinning Cube and then switch back to Ilo. Have Ilo move in front of the Block Creature near the tall pillar and have it pop up.
      8. Before you continue with the next step, have Milo explore the underside of his area with the Spinning Cube to eventually find the level’s record. When you find it, return top side.
      9. Next, switch to Milo and drop the Spinning Block so it starts to roll up the pillar and hit the red switch at the top. Make sure before the switch is hit, Milo is standing on the block opposite the pull block.
      10. Before you reunite, make sure that Ilo uses the Spinning Block to explore the underside of her area and find the level’s picture and final Safka.

      Night Time

      1. Start off as Milo and head across one of the twisting bridges. When you reach the gap, switch to Ilo and have her place the Dark Cube so you can cross.
      2. When Milo reaches the other side, have Ilo take the Dark Cube and place it in the gap in the middle between the two twisting bridges.
      3. Switch back to Milo and head over the carpets to reach the the bridge of Light Blocks. Follow them to the end and pick up the Trap Cube.
      4. Use the Trap Cube right there to flip to the bottom of the Light Cube bridge and find the picture for the level.
      5. Flip back to the top, pick up the Trap Cube, and head across the bridge again. Move back to the single block gaps and drop the Trap Cube in one of them so Ilo can pick it up.
      6. Head across the Winding bridge on the right to find a Safka. Head back to the main platform now and pick up the Trap Cube.
      7. Place the Trap Cube just ahead of where you dropped the Dark Cube to explore the underside and find a Safka.
      8. In addition to finding the Safka, follow the trail and head over the carpets to eventually find a Spinning Cube. Use it right there to spin to the bottom side and find the thrid Safka.
      9. Return to the top side, head back over the carpet and use the Spinning Block again to find the level’s record.
      10. Now its time to reunite. Head across the twisting bridge and use the Spinning Cube to make it to the same plane as Milo.

You left out the special levels for Chapter 2 [and on] and I really could use a walkthrough for The Dream Maker. ^^;;
