Incredible Stop-Motion Video Uses Minecraft to Recreate Punch-Out!

Every couple of days, it seems, we find a new video from someone who dumped an absolutely insane amount of time into Minecraft to create something staggeringly cool.

The video below is a great example. It’s a fully accurate recreation of Punch-Out! on NES, but made as a stop-motion video within Minecraft. That’s right, not only is this a stop-motion animation — itself a time-consuming, intensive process in any medium — but each of those frames has to be constructed out of Minecraft blocks. It’s mind-blowing.

There’s also a link on the video that can show you the making-of side of the film. Crazy crazy crazy crazy.

I hope these people have actual jobs, though, and do something productive with their time once in a while. This is a lot of talent to be squandering on YouTube videos. I’m not complaining, though.

See more cool stuff from MinecraftA2Z, the creators of this video, on their YouTube channel.
