Infinite Crisis Puts DC Heroes In The MOBA Scene

So how about that MOBA genre? Everyone seems to want a slice of the pie, including comic book companies. The folks at DC have teamed up with Turbine (Lord of the Rings Online, Asheron’s Call, et al.) to create Infinite Crisis, a MOBA based on the superpowered punches and constant retconning we’ve come to expect of DC comics.

A few unique features have been touted for Infinite Crisis, such as destructible environments and a “major story arc.” In addition, different designs of the same comic character (like the vampiric Batman or the Victorian Joker) will actually be different heroes, as opposed to reskins. Besides these promises, it looks like a pretty standard affair of hero slaughter and money collecting. It even seems to be following the League of Legends formula of “four skills and a passive” that most MOBAs adhere to these days. If you wanna get pumped, check the trailer below.

I think we need more MOBAs. Every game should change into a MOBA. SC3 should be a MOBA, the new call of duty needs to be a MOBA and I think we should make the next Assassin’s Creed be a MOBA.

Every game needs to be a MOBA.

Cool, I was just wondering where I could get my next fix of being repeatedly sworn and having my sexuality questioned. :D
