Square Enix have announced the upcoming release of Infinite Undiscovery for the Xbox 360, the newest fantasy RPG developed by tri-Ace Inc. Featuring a real-time world woven with countless threads where the player’s choices will spin untold discoveries. The actions taken by the player with each discovery will have a real-time impact on the world and boasts an abundant of “situational battles”. Two such examples of what to expect in the game: A daring escape while a gigantic ogre follows in hot pursuit, and waging battle amidst towering tidal waves. The environments in the game will also change and respond in real-time to player commands, creating an entirely new experience each time.
Combat, exploration, and other actions all take place within the same environment, shifting between each game facet. Battles are also carried out in real-time, bringing the fighting sequences of the Star Ocean series out of the traditional battle screen into a new and artistic environment.
A release date for Infinite Undiscovery has yet to be announced, so check back often for more updates.

Want. D: What’s with Square and releasing games on systems I otherwise have no interest in? First it’s the PSP with the Star Ocean remakes, and now the 360 with a Tri-Ace game!

“Undiscovery”?! Oh how I love the Japanese and their mastery of the Engrish (sic) language.
