Injustice: Gods Among Us Special Edition Comes With A Silly Statue

Warner Bros. and Netherrealm have revealed that anyone willing to spend $99.99 on the collector’s edition of the DC universe fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us will get something to show the whole world, or at least your office, that they’re the kind of person who would spend 100 bucks – or Euros, or Pounds – on the collector’s edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us. In this case, a supremely twisty statue of Batman and Wonderwoman.

In Europe, you get the statue up top. US DC fanatics will get this one below:

I’m not sure if a fighting game is worth spending 100 bucks on, but I can say that this statute is kind of not something I would want on my desk. I prefer the Lego Batman feature in this article’s thumbnail. What about you, Game Fronters? Planning to give your April, 2013 money to this game? Sound off in comments.

Pass. But I’m not interested in the game, so there’s that.

This game just holds no interest to me. I get the alternate universe stuff but the costumes are just look like 90s sci-fi to me. The statue it’s self is pretty ugly, no one wants a batman statue getting his ass kicked by wonder woman.

I am not interested in the game as I never really got into Mortal Kombat. I collect statues and it definitely caused me to double take on this. I like the statue in the top picture but the bottom picture statue looks lame.

First off, to all you people whining about Wonder Woman Beating Batman’s ass in this comic, GET REAL. The woman has fought SUPERMAN and nearly killed him. DC Comics themselves have admitted that Wonder Woman is one of the, if not THE most powerful character in the DC universe. Batman has NO superstrength, no powers at all. And while that makes him cool and all, i get so sick of Batty fans trying to play him up to be something he’s not. Great Detective? Yes! Great Mind? yes! Often Prepared? yes. Powerhouse Brawler who can go up against Superman and other near-god-like characters and take them down? DOUBTFUL. I think the statue is great. GREAT fight scene. Of course, i love Batman. He’s an awesome character. But when it comes to putting heroes against each other, there are OBVIOUS wins and loses. And there is LOGIC. The reason Wonder Woman can defeat and nearly kill superman (As she did in her comic, during the story arc involving Maxwell Lord), Is because she is nearly EQUAL to him in strength, and if there IS any weaker side in strength to Supes, she makes up for it in magical attributes, Strategics, and combat. GET OVER IT

I meant ‘in this Statue scene” not “In this comic”

Jordan – I’ve seen you do this before, categorising people as ‘whiners’ and telling them to ‘get over it’ for having less-than-100% positive opinions on things. It’s not helpful. Besides which, what do you mean “all those people”? Yours was the fourth comment on the page, and only one of the preceding three was criticising the idea of Wonder Woman going toe-to-toe with Batman. So how is that “all those people”?

If you’re going to troll, do it effectively in future. This was just completely directionless.
