    Basic Tips & Recommended Attacks

Deathstroke has some strong ranged attacks, as well as quick replies to close-range opponents. He doesn’t have the kind of mobility that some others like Cyborg does, but he makes up for it with a powerful selection of combos and gun specials.

Enhanced Reflexes (Character Power): Once active, Deathstroke’s bullet attacks become unblockable – but once it wears off, he’ll miss. It activates very quickly, good to use after a bounce of knock-back attack.

Identity Crisis (Combo): For my money, this is Deathstroke’s best combo. It’ll launch opponents back if it connects, and deals good damage.

Machine Gun / Quick Fire: Similar attacks, both are good. Quick Fire is best used at medium or close, or to finish a combo. Machine Gun is slightly slower, but better – at close or long range, Meter Burn will add a grenade shot that arcs, giving it an added bonus.

Sword Flip: A good way to close-in and a useful anti-air. Use it when your opponent tries to jump over Deathstroke’s gunshots. Guaranteed to land a hit.

    VS Shazam

Welcome to the Watchtower! There are stage hazards to the left of center, and in both corners. Use them before Shazam uses them against you.

The Superman-esque hero isn’t too threatening to Deathstroke. Play keep-away and hit him hard with ranged attacks after launching him backwards. Unleash that character power, and you’ll never miss.

    VS The Flash

This is when things get trickier. The Flash is, obviously, very fast. He’ll rush Slade, generally being very fast and aggressive. Deathstroke doesn’t have the speed to match Flash blow for blow up-close, so it’s time to make distance.

Meter Burn to escape combos if you must, and knock Flash back with Terminator, Human Hunting, Identity Crisis, or Sword Spin.

Blow him backwards, then unleash Machine Gun and Quickfire. Pop that character power, and repeat the cycle after he gets in close. Flash isn’t known for his air-game, so there’s not much to worry about. Hit Flash with Sword Flip if he tries to jump.

    VS Killer Frost

Remember Killer Frost? Her AI has been improved since that last fight. You’ll have to deal with the added stage hazards too – use them first. There are rockets, tool boxes, gas canisters and more, all of which can be used multiple times.

When Frost’s super meter fills up, remember what to do. If she unleashes her super move, immediately jump. Where ever you are standing, an unblockable ice shard will tear into you. If you jump, you’ll be safe.

Otherwise, it’s just a matter of using Deathstroke’s go-to AI strategy. Knock her back, unload with bullet attacks, knock her back against when she gets close.

    VS Wonder Woman

And Woman Woman isn’t much different. Pepper her with bullets no matter what stance she’s using. While she’s knocked back, mix in a few Meter Burns in with those Machine Gun and Quick Fire specials to keep her away.

The major difference between Wonder Woman and Killer Frost is that she excels at both ranged combat and close – depending on her stance. But, there’s no reason to switch your strategies here.

    No character creation mode, bah..
Even Wrestling games have character creation mode.

Wrestling is technically a sport, so the introduction of new characters (hence, create a wrestler) is plausible. Injustice is a licensed franchise from DC and they would never allow a create-a-fighter option.

But doing it in DC Universe online its ok right?

I’m just saying that I believe we have to break this barrier in gaming. I’m Hispanic and I wont buy this game or any fighting game that does not implement a character customization option. I don think its worth a 60 dollar price tag on something I can finish in a day without it having replay value. I mean there isn’t even an Asian superhero for crying out loud. Not to mention the1 token black guy.

I for one love games so much that these industries don’t care about catering to the player and that’s the reason no one is buying there games. Then they start whining that they didn’t hit there sales mark because they believe people are pirating. No its because they cater to one demographic.

While I appreciate the Character Game Guide (very useful)
I would prefer the guide to be in the format that you used for Mortal Kombat
ie One use a universal Key 1,2,3,4 for the buttons (or atleast make some sort of key so that we can id the difference between the X-Box 360 and PS3 versions) and
Apart from just speaking out what you are inputting can you also write the combo down (just like you did in the MK Videos) That may be a lot easier for certain people (it certainly was for me) instead of trying to strain their eyes on what is on the side screen (ie the small display of buttons input display)

I hope that I haven’t offended anyone with any of my comments and I am wondering if you are going to put up anymore videos of characters in the future. Also please show Enhanced Versions of the Super Moves and can you also tell what are the Strengths and Weakness of a character. Ie Lex Luthor may be a strong character but has slow speed but doesn’t have that many combos etc… and who a said character has an advantage against and who he is weakened/disadvantage against.

I hope that you consider my suggestions and don’t consider my post as Spam even though it is in my name. :)

My Bad I carefully noted your videos after a couple of watching so I can now see the button display for the combos though a universal key might be a bit easier, it is still better than nothing.

Would like a lex luthor video as well.
Also the other suggestions though please consider them
