Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet destined for PC ‘very soon’

Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is all set to be the latest game that took ten million years to make the pilgrimage from consoles to the hallowed lands. Yep, the backtracking flying saucer adventure is finally geared up for a PC release, with Shadow Planet Productions promising a release “very soon.” The news was dropped on Nintendojo’s “Airship Travelogues” podcast, which I’ve never listened to. I just borrowed the story from Joystiq, because I am a professional journalist.

Once released, you’ll be able to pick it up on Steam, complete with the “shadow hunters” cooperative DLC currently available for Xbox Live users. It’ll support mouse and keyboard controls, like all good PC games should (coughAssassinsCreedIIIcough). Although the port is apparently completed, we’re going to have to wait for a solid launch date and price. So … start waiting.

I played it on Xbox Live and it bored the piss out of me, by the way. Maybe you’ll like it, though!
