
Iron Lore Entertainment, the company that gave fans Titan Quest, has appointed Jeff Goodsill as President. Goodsill is best known for his work on Age of Empires and NASCAR Series.
“Jeff brings a wealth of game industry experience to his new role as president of Iron Lore,” said Brian Sullivan, Creative Director and Co-Founder of Iron Lore Entertainment. “Not only has he been our General Manager for the last three years, he was previously the general manger of both Ensemble and Papyrus. I have full confidence that he will successfully lead us through our transition to multiplatform development and multiple teams.”
Iron Lore has also hired Steve Marvin as Design Director. Marvin has worked as Senior and Lead Designer on Warhammer: Age of Reckoning at EA Mythic.
Named Best New Studio of 2006 by the International Game Developers Association, Iron Lore has made a growing reputation for itself in a very short period of time with titles like Titan Quest and its expansion Titan Quest: Immortal Throne which has claimed the title of Best Action RPG from Play Magazine and Top 5 Game of the Year from Games for Windows Magazine and PC Magazine. The company currently working on a PC title and is planning a next-gen console and PC title.
