Is Harmonix Working On A Combat Game?

Harmonix has posted a new jobs listing, and in a shocking twist it isn’t for a music game. I’m still wrapping my head around that, so let’s take a look at the actual listing:

Harmonix seeks a Combat Designer to create real-time, single-player combat experiences for a brand new IP on next-generation hardware. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute creatively to the studio and work on a project that is unlike anything Harmonix has ever done before.

Weird, right? Presumably, this real time, single player combat game will seek to simulate the experience of combat with an innovative controller shaped like a gun, that requires the player to rhythmically tap out button combinations in time to a soaring, epic score worthy of a World War II film.
