Is Inception About Games?
Being an anti-intellectual, I don’t like to think too hard about stuff. So when I saw Inception and I could quite grasp all the concepts immediately, I got angry. My professional opinion on the flick went something like this: “F**k that movie. Not in the mood.”
But I do acknowledge that not everyone is like me, though if you aren’t, I hate you. And today I saw on Twitter that a designer at Bethesda, Emil Pagliarulo, was interviewed on Bethesda’s blog to talk about how the act of designing the dream worlds in Inception is not unlike designing a game world. I didn’t read the interview, of course, but one of my bros harped on it for like 20 minutes, and so I though I’d do all you uppity intellectuals a favor here by pointing you to it. I’m told it’s all very fascinating.
