It’s a Galaxy Map for The Old Republic!
I’m having a bad morning. See, I can’t type “galaxy” without accidentally first typing “galazy.” I’ve done it five times already, and it’s getting old. And that’s your window into the world of Phil Owen for the day.
So SWTOR has a galaxy map. I question the inclusion of the Unknown Regions, since there’s like a whole Pandora’s box of things going on there that could really only serve as a tangent in the war between the Sith and the Republic, seeing as how neither group ever really operated there. Also, it’s called the Unknown Regions for a reason, and that’s because people who don’t live there don’t know anything about it. So it seems weird that it’s there.
Also, I just realized that the Unknown Regions and Hutt Space are int he same places they are on the New Jedi Order map, which was drawn up 1000 years later. Shouldn’t they have moved, you know, because the galaxy rotates? Weird.
And that’s all the nerdy Phil Owen Star Wars knowledge I’m going to drop on you today.
Anyway, you can explore the SWTOR galaxy map to your heart’s content right now over at swtor.com. You should do that, because that’s always fun.
