James vs. Games 14 & 15: A James vs. Double-Header

It’s a double-header this week in James vs. Games, making up for missing an episode last week, and that means two games for James to play through in rapid succession.

The two challenges James faces are Mirror’s Edge and Batman: Arkham City. Under the new James vs. Games rules, the competition is a best two of three — so James could very well find himself facing punishment by the end of the day. A punishment that requires him to dress as an ’80s rocker and have lunch at the La Brea Tar Pits, in full view of the public. It would not be a pretty sight.

The challenges are as follows: In Mirror’s Edge, James has 18 minutes to clear the game’s Prologue and Chapter 1 levels, but he has almost no experience with the title. The second challenge is to take two trophies in the Nightwing DLC’s Combat Challenge. For that one, James has slightly more prep time and is given some training on advanced combat techniques by mitch.
