James vs. Games 61 — Punch Out Wii

Last time James was in the ring, it was 20 years ago. He took down Mike Tyson that day, cementing his place in heavyweight history by defeating the champ in all his 8-bit glory.

But times have changed, and in the intervening decades, James has gotten soft. Can he climb back to prominence in Punch Out!, even though the rules of the game — nay, its very nature — have become unfamiliar to him? Can James fight his way through the minor circuit of Punch Out Wii to emerge victorious in James vs. Games?

You’re going to have to watch to find out. The challenge this week is for James to complete the game’s minor circuit without continuing, which means he has to go undefeated. With new controls and spiffier graphics than James remembers, his work will be cut out for him as he dons his green trunks again … perhaps for the last time.
