Jasper Byrne Releases His Chunk of the Hotline Miami Soundtrack

While Ross Lincoln diligently toils through Hotline Miami to get you his review (I’ve played it and the game is very cool, but also frakkin’ hard), you can enjoy another little chunk of the game: Jasper Byrne of Superflat Games has released the four tracks he created for the game’s (awesome) soundtrack as an EP.

You might remember Byrne from his work on Lone Survivor, one of the cooler indie titles I played this year and a great take on side-scrolling horror. In addition to making games, Byrne is also a musician (and an artist), and so created a few solidly awesome ’80s-inspired tracks for Hotline Miami. You can download the tracks here for $4, and I highly recommend it. Get it here.

And you should also check out Lone Survivor, which is available on Steam, and its soundtrack, which you can nab here. I also have Byrne’s Soul Brother soundtrack — another quality chunk of game music. Find that one here.
