Jostens Partners With EA to Bring Gamers the “Bling”
I will never fully understand people who buy-in to these sorts of promotions, but nevertheless, it is within my duties to report them to you. Jostens, makers of High School and College rings nationwide, have just partnered with EA games. What would become of such a partnership you ask? Well, let me show you:
That’s right. After beating Madden 2008 on an undisclosed “Level 3″, you will receive a code that lets you order the Champion Series ring from Jostens. (Update: EA states that this feature is for Xbox 360 and PS3 only.) The ring can be adorned with the team logo of your choice, and comes in a variety of flavors. Madden fanatics can expect $149 for the cheap version, and $495 for 14k gold. Have an extra couple thousand dollars? You can also have the standard cubic zirconium replaced with real diamonds.
Perhaps this promotion will give you the chance to have that championship ring you never won. If only coach would have put you in, you would have won state for sure. Yeah, that would have changed things, you would have gone pro. Think I can throw a football over them mountains?
