Journey Of A Roach Crawls Onto PCs This November

Daedalic Games and Kobaldgames, the makers of many fine adventure games, have announced an all new adventure game, Journey of a Roach, will be skittering its way onto computers before the end of the year.

Journey of a Roach is described as an adventure set in a “sarcastic, post-apocalyptic world.” A bit like Fallout, then, but with roaches.

Players take on the roles of Roach Jim and his sidekick Bud, who are out and about to find their way from a deserted vault to the Earth’s surface. Players must steer them through classic point & click adventure game puzzles. Certain challenges can be overcome by using the roach’s natural abilities. Being roaches, Jim and Bud have the ability to crawl up walls and on ceilings, as well as on items.

If that isn’t interesting enough for you, the big bullet point about the game is that there’s no written or spoken dialog whatsoever. Everything in the game is signed.

Journey of a Roach will be out on the PC and Mac in November.
