Joust and Robotron Available for Free on Xbox Live

xbla_logo.jpg

Totally360 is reporting that Microsoft is now offering Joust and Robotron free of charge through Xbox Live Arcade. The offer is limited however to recent adopters of their system. In order to get these titles you’ll need to have bought an Xbox 360 in the past year, signed up for Xbox Live, and filled out a registration form on their website. After I read about this, I tried to download those games myself — since I seem to qualify — but didn’t have any luck. So, just to offer fair warning, getting these titles for free may be more challenging than it seems.

Everything looks normal here. Both games are showing at full price, and I meet all the criteria you listed. Odd.
