Just Cause 2: Multiplayer Takes Home Mod of the Year Award

Just Cause 2: Multiplayer just snuck under the 2013 wire, but the mod that welcomes hundreds of players to simultaneously wreak havoc on the island of Panau certainly didn’t go unnoticed.

ModDB has revealed its mod of the year choices, and Just Cause 2: Multiplayer took the top prize in the player choice voting. More than 141,000 votes were cast to determine this top 10:

10. Wyrmstooth
9. Fallout: Project Brazil
8. A Clash of Kings
7. Crusader Kings 2: Thrones
6. Underhell
5. Project Reality: Battlefield 2
4. Brutal Doom
3. Rise of the Reds
2. No More Room in Hell
1. Just Cause 2: Multiplayer

Some great selections, in particular Crusader Kings 2: Thrones. The mod transforms what was already the most Game of Thrones game out there, Crusader Kings 2, into an actual Game of Thrones game. Highly recommended if you’re already delving into Paradox’s strategy game and George R.R. Martin’s fantasy universe.
